Physical forms are also available in the office and will need to be signed by a parent and brought to the doctor on June 11th. Our men’s team fought a tough battle and ended up with their biggest win of the season by defeating the other 16 teams. The margin compared to the runner up was a 2 point difference. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Between our girls and boys teams, Preble also advanced 20 athletes to the state track and field meet in LaCrosse at the end of the week. Here is your chance! On May 13th (next Wed.), Sting Cancer is hosting a hair cutting donation for the Childhood Leukemia Foundation. All hair that is cut will go to make wigs for children under 21 who are suffering from any type of hair loss. The hair cutting will take place in the LMC during 4th, 5th, and 6th hours. If you are interested or would like more information, please pick up a sign-up sheet in the main office. The great part of this experience is that the Childhood Leukemia Foundation is accepting any donations and the minimum amount of hair that can be donated is only six inches. All students who are interested are invited to attend the meetings this month from 3:00 to 4:00pm. The meetings will be on Thursdays, starting this Thursday right after school in room 149.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is a great opportunity for you to engage in and support Asian cultural awareness at Preble. They have won the prestigious 2009 "Excellence in Speech" Award given annually by the Wisconsin High School Forensics Association to the top 5% scoring schools competing at State. This year there were over 4,000 students competing from 364 school districts. Our 34 Preble students compiled enough points and received this coveted award in recognition of our outstanding speech program. The goal was scored by Kasey Vanderweegen on an assist from Heather Hack. Taylor Weuve recorded 6 saves in the shutout for Preble. JV also played and tied Sheboygan North 1-1. The next game for both Varsity and JV is Tuesday at Sheboygan South.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Girls Track&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Preble girls track team placed 2nd in a 7 team meet held in Oshkosh last night. The girls competed hard falling only to Watertown. Congratulations girls.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The freshmen girls also competed in Manitowac last night. The girls were paced by high places from Jacy Georgia, Karissa Pomasl, Sara Jessick, Jena Johnson and Dalia DelVillor. Five students will be elected next week at each city school to form the Council, which meets monthly with the School Board. The Board encourages all students interested in this opportunity to run for rep, as they would like a diverse group from each school. This involves a time commitment, and membership on the ICSC will also place students on the Preble Student Council, which expects a time commitment for its projects, also.
