Attention all Cross Country seniors:
Please stop down by the PE area TODAY during or after school to pick up your embroidered senior Cross Country blanket from Coach Loritz.

Congratulations to the Varsity Softball team, who finished their conference season last night with a 4 to 1 win over Pulaski. The Hornets are the Conference Eastern Division Champions with a perfect record of 10 and 0. Their 14 win, 2 loss record put them in 2nd place in the entire conference. The team’s next game is their State Regional opener at home on Tuesday at Finger Road Park.

Hey 2011-2012 Link Crew Leaders! Your advisors need your help! This summer Preble will be conducting Early Registration over the course of 4 days. Link Crew leaders are needed in the library to help hand out text books, answer questions for new students, and possibly give tours. If you are interested in helping out at Early Registration please sign up in student services. We need at least 10 people for each day! This is a great way to get involved early and earn an event for Link Crew.

The Preble girls track team placed 3rd in the 18 team sectionals held last night at Bay Port. The team had several strong performances led by Kim Drewiske’s school record in the high hurdles. 13 girls qualified for the state competition in La Crosse next weekend. Congratulations girls and good luck at state.

Also, other track athletes are reminded to turn in their uniforms as many are still outstanding.

Attention boys interested in playing volleyball next season:

There will be an informational meeting Tuesday, May 31st at 7:00pm in the gym at Preble. There will be open gym after until 9:00. If you cannot attend this meeting, please contact coach Duffney.

Attention Math Students

Next week, the Math Lab will be limited to students taking tests or quizzes and students who have pink passes from their math teacher.

Please plan accordingly

As of June 1st, students riding the Metro bus will be required to show their ID’s.

Tonight your Senior Ball buffet dinner begins at 6 PM. If you still need a ticket, please come to Room 200 before the end of the day.


Attention all Juniors on Student Council: Please see Mrs. Marshall by Period 7 today to vote on your graduation announcement style. Whatever the count is in by 1:15 will be your choice.

There will be a sign-up meeting for girls interested in playing on next year’s tennis team, after school on Tuesday. The meeting will be from 3:00 – 3:30 in Room 245.

There will be no after school study halls in the math lab or library after today

Congratulations to our Men’s track and field team. They have now completed a second consecutive undefeated regular season. On Monday, our track team won the WIAA Regional meet for the 20th consecutive year. This record of regional titles is a record that no one in the state has accomplished over the past 20 years.
Last night, our men’s team won the WIAA Sectional in dominating fashion also. In doing so, our team qualified for the state track meet in eleven events and 17 individuals. Ben Daniels again broke another school record. Seniors who qualified for the state meet include: Mike Molzahn, Lance Gauger, Brian Janus, Ben Daniels, Jim Rettler, John Seidl, Jesse VandenAvond, Matt Dobson, and Greg Boex. The state meet is at UW LaCrosse on Friday June 3rd, and Saturday June 4th. Underclassmen who qualified for state are: Jamel Robertson,Jake Wallenfang, Zak Wallenfang, Robert Starnes, Nick Freitag, Cory Cegelski, Sam Schneider, and Joe Matheson
Congratulations Men’s track team for adding another successful chapter to our championship tradition

Preble Athletes! Are you looking to become quicker, faster, stronger and better overall athlete? Well, this summer you can work towards becoming the best athlete you can be. Sign up for the Preble XL Performance Class which will be on Monday and Wednesdays starting June 6th here at Preble! We will improve in many different disciplines of performance such as Speed, Quickness, Plyometrics, and Core strengthening to name a few. Pick up your registration form either in the office or the Athletic Training Room after school. If you have any questions on what the XL Performance class is all about stop in the Athletic Training Room and talk with Dave. You don’t want to miss out on this exciting and researched based XL performance class, sign up before it fills up!
