Hornet Bee-stro
Today, the Hornet Bee-stro will again be opening its doors! What is the Bee-stro, you ask? It is a student-run restaurant that operates only during lunch periods on designated Tuesday’s throughout the school year. The restaurant is located inside room 139 (inside the Culinary lab). Students plan, cost, order, prepare, serve, and analyze each luncheon. In effect, the students own and operate this establishment. This is all part of the class!
The menu is typically sent out a few days prior to the luncheon, with reservations accepted immediately. The cost is only $8 per person to dine in or $9 per person for take-out. Both include the starter, entrée, dessert, and beverage. We offer a relaxing atmosphere at reasonable prices without the stress of having to “rush” back to class.
Come join us for a hearty lunch that includes a fresh romaine salad tossed with a home-made sweet-sesame vinaigrette, a Choice Chuck-tender steak with Cabernet sauce, Summer Bounty Vegetables, pan-fried seasoned potatoes and homemade dinner rolls. This is followed by our own Raspberry Granita for dessert. All this and a beverage too! You can make reservations in room 140 anytime during the school day.
