AP Exams
Signing-up for AP Exams ends today at 3:30pm. Any questions see your AP teacher or Mrs. Koenig in the Main Office.
Sting Cancer
StingCancer now has a team with Folding@Home -- a Stanford University project to research cancer and other diseases. Interested staff and students can search for us on Facebook and come to Thursday's meeting for more info on how to get involved with folding. Thanks for your support!
Battle of the Bands
Green Bay West High School is hosting the 3rd Annual Battle of the Bands on Friday, March 12th West High School gymnasium. We are currently looking for area high school bands that are interested in competing.
Any style music and at least one member must be a current student at the high school level to participate. Information sheets are available in the main office.
The Buzz
The Buzz staff will be working after school on Monday to edit articles. ALL articles are due Monday with the exception of sports. Come to room 132 at 3:10 and the editors will help you edit.

Book Club
All students are welcome to pick up a copy of The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-time Indian in the LMC and read it for the March 17th discussion. Join fellow readers in the LMC during the lunch hours. Those who have read it are saying it’s good!
Technical College
Scholarship Inc. has extended the deadline for those applying to a technical college. Stop in the Career Center for further information.
SMART
The Science, Math, And Rational Thinking club will meet after school today in Mr. Sindberg’s room to discuss Solar Olympics projects.
St. Baldrick's
Want a free haircut? Consider shaving your head at St. Baldrick’s on Sat., March 13 here at Preble. To register, go to stbaldricks.org. Then collect pledge money which all goes to childhood cancer research. You can do it in honor or in memory of someone as well. More information is available at the St. Baldricks website. Go Bald for a cause‼

CP Telethon
A big “THANK YOU” goes out to all students and staff who donated to yesterday’s Cerebral Palsy Telethon – especially to the CD students and staff! With the school contributions and the Student Council matching funds, Preble will be donating $600.00 at the CP Telethon Saturday night on WBAY-TV. Be watching‼!
Boys Tennis
There will be a sign-up meeting for all boys interested in trying out for the tennis team immediately after school on Monday, March 8 in Room 245. Room 245 is across from the math lab.
Upward Bound night at Culvers
Please support Upward Bound on March 9th by stopping in for a meal at Culvers. If you eat at Culvers on March 9th from 5-8 p.m., Upward Bound will receive 10% of the profits. Upward Bound helps make college affordable and possible for many students at Preble. Please come support us at 2945 Voyager Drive near the East Marcus Cinema. The flavor of the day on March 9th is Turtle. Thank you for your support!
