Preble Pride
Today the Preble Pride Award was given during 2nd period to the following students:

Jacob Schneider
Sydney Smits
Eric Somers
Michael Witt


Not only did these students display pride in themselves and their school, but they showed pride in our community. It is through their efforts that the Green Bay area can see Preble Pride in action and know that Preble cares!

Paper Hands for Haiti
All Preble students are invited to join the Do Something Club and MAC Scholars in the LMC after school TODAY. We will be making paper Hands to sell to raise money for Haiti. Hope to see you there!

Boys Golf
There will be an informational meeting for all boys interested in joining the boy’s golf team next Tuesday, February 9th after school in room 146. See Mr. Johnson for more information.

Chess Tournament
There will be a chess tournament held at Preble on Saturday, February 20th, 2010. You do not need to be a member of the Preble Chess Club in order to participate. There is a $5 entry fee and entry forms can be picked up in the main office or directly from Mr. Kline. See Mr. Kline if you have any questions.

FBLA
There will be an FBLA meeting after school on Wednesday in room 146. We will be preparing for Saturday’s regional competition.

Book Club
Those who have read Inexcusable for this month can meet in the LMC during all lunch hours on Wednesday to discuss the novel. Bring your lunch! J If you have any questions, please see Ms. Pearson or Ms. Suda.

Chess Club
Chess Club will be meeting in the LMC briefly tonight to discuss our fundraiser as well as offer our support to the “Hands for Haiti” program.

STOPP
There will be a STOPP meeting in room 206 today at 3:10. Everyone is welcome.

Volunteers needed!
Every Saturday beginning this Saturday from 10am –noon. Duties will include coordinating activities and supervising 6-10 year olds. If interested, stop in the Career Center today for further details.
