1.Make sure to get a good night’s rest.
2.Make sure to eat healthy – especially the mornings of exams.
3.Exercising for a few days before the test will help reduce stress
4.On the test - Don’t keep changing your answer, usually your first choice is the right one, unless you miss-read the question
5.Usually the correct answer is the choice with the most information

Shoes for the Shoeless
What kind of shoes do you have on right now? Nike’s? Adidas? Puma’s? How many pairs of shoes do you have at home that you don’t wear or have grown out of? Millions of people in second and third world countries don’t even own one pair of shoes in a lifetime! Preble’s FFA is trying to change that. The FFA has organized a “Shoes for the Shoeless” drive and we will be collecting gently used pairs of practical shoes. Our goal is to fill the Agribusiness display case to the top by Thanksgiving. Please drop off your shoes in rooms 185 or 187 or in the “Shoes for the Shoeless” boxes scattered around school. We ask that you donate so that those without shoes can own a pair for the holidays. Thank you, Preble FFA.

We won two regular season championships and just missed winning conference and regional titles. For that success to continue we need as many students as possible to come out for wrestling. We believe that wrestling makes you a better athlete overall and gives you quickness and strength that is helpful in almost any other sport. Out team does not cut wrestlers and we do not make you cut weight. You will get in shape though!

All students interested in wrestling please come to the wrestling meeting on Thursday immediately after school in the boys locker room. This meeting will take just five minutes, you will be signing up and receiving information on our Lambeau Field seat pick up. Athletes in other fall sports need to come as well, it will be very short, and you will not be late for practice. Students under 115 pounds and over 200 pounds are especially encouraged to come out because we are short on those areas. See you Thursday after school! Coach McGrath

WKCE

10th graders – please check the lists posted in both in the commons (by the auditorium doors) and the LMC (on the windows across from attendance) to see what room you are testing in. The lists are in order by ID #.

For each test we will announce the day before:
What test is coming up the next day
What 10th graders need to bring
What time classes will begin

Today, we will start announcing some test taking strategies:

Strategies for taking Multiple choice Tests:
1.Read the question before you look at the answer
2.Come up with answers in your head before looking at the possible answers, this way the choices on the test won’t throw you off or trick you
3.Eliminate answers you know aren’t right
4.all the choices before choosing your answer
5.On the WKCE tests, there is no guessing penalty, so always take an educated guess and select an answer
