In fact, it is one of the largest volunteer fundraising events held all over the country.

There are several ways to get involved with St. Baldrick’s. First, if you’re a Sting Cancer member, sign up to help with games, raffles, food, or auction at a Sting Cancer meeting. Second, you can encourage your friends or teachers or principals to shave their heads by collecting donations. Third, be brave and show you care about childhood cancer by having your head shave. And lastly – come to the event on Sat., March 14, from 1-5, and support childhood cancer research by supporting the shavers, shavees, raffles, and auction. It promises to be a fun afternoon.

A great bumper sticker said,
“Dog think they are human, cats KNOW they are!”
Dog lovers understand, the only reason the cat woke up its owners was to insure its “meal ticket” survived. In typical cat style they are only worried about themselves and their needs. Dogs will die to protect their owners out of loyalty. Please, we need your help. Vote your loyalty with your spare money!

Do Something members, please drop off your donations at least once a day to Mr. B’s room. Currently there is NOT EVEN A PENNY IN CAT JAR! Also, make sure you are showing your loyalty by getting your collection bags out for people to clearly see. I understand you cat owners might be too embarrassed, but please do so!
