Today is yearbook order interest day.

Third hour teachers please hand out order interest forms to students who would like to order a yearbook today. Any teacher who did not receive forms yesterday in his or her mailbox, should send a runner now to Room 205 to pick up the number of forms required. Forms should be filled out neatly and COMPLETELY in BLUE or BLACK ink in carefully printed letters. These forms are scanned by a computer and mistakes can be easily made if your 4’s look like 9’s, for example. Make sure that you fill out a form even if you are unsure if you want a book. Filling out this form does NOT obligate you to pay for the book once the invoice is sent. However, if you do NOT fill out a form you would have to call an 800 number or go online later to order the book. If you are 100% sure that you do not want a 2009 yearbook, do not fill out a form. Instead return it to your teacher with no marks on it so that it can be used by another student who is absent today. Students who are absent today will be able to fill out a form in the Main Office. No forms should be taken home today. Please fill out the form in your classroom and return it to your third hour teacher today. Teachers, please return the completed forms in the envelope provided to the box in the Main Office. Unused forms should be kept separate and put in the second box on the counter in the Main Office. Cost of the 2009 yearbook is $47 but this includes an all-color book with a year-in-review supplement on historical events that happened in the past year as well as shipping directly to your home address.

Yearbook
Yearbook order day will be Wednesday, January 21, one week from Wednesday. Students will receive a form in their third hour classes to fill out so that an invoice can be sent to their homes. You will need to PRINT the information in capital letters in BLUE or BLACK ink, not pencil or colored ink as these forms are scanned by a machine. You need to know your address exactly including street number, street name, apartment number if applicable and zip code. Your book will be shipped to this address as well. An inaccurate address could result in your not receiving an invoice and therefore not receiving a book. Or your book could be misdelivered next fall. The yearbook staff cannot be responsible for inaccurate addresses, or for change of addresses not reported to Mrs. Sutton.

The cost of the yearbook without a nameplate is $47. This price includes shipping the book to your home when it is published next fall. You should fill out a form next week even if you are uncertain about whether or not you wish to order a book. Even though an invoice will be sent to you, you may cancel the order later and you are not obligated to pay. If you do not order your yearbook this way by the final deadline, the cost will go up to $60 so you want to be sure to fill out a form early. If you are absent on Wednesday, January 21, you will be able to fill out a form in the main office but the amount of time you have to do this in is limited.

More information will be available from your third hour teacher on how to fill out the forms. Make sure that you know your COMPLETE address and bring a blue or black ink pen to third hour class. Don’t miss out!

If you cannot afford the yearbook, see Mrs. Sutton in Room 205 right away about the possibility of working off the cost of the book.
