Yearbook
The list of senior photos which have been received for the yearbook is now posted on the J drive in the first folder labeled #01 2010 Senior Photos Rec’d. There is also a message in the same file with instructions on what to do if you thought your photo was submitted but your name does not appear on the list. It is your responsibility to check this list to make sure that your photo was received. The yearbook staff will not be responsible if the book is published without your photo. It is not too late to submit your senior photo. However, soon it will be too late for us to put your photo in alphabetical order in the senior section. Please see Mrs. Sutton in Room 205 if you have questions about your photo.
Also, we have been informed by the yearbook mail order company that the first order forms were mailed out at the bulk rate so they should be showing up at your homes soon if they haven’t already.

Canvas Bags for Sale
Are you looking for a last minute gift for your mother or aunt? Or are you looking to introduce a new way to go green to your family for the holidays? The Environmental club will be selling canvas bags with natural and cultural prints on them for $10 today and tomorrow. The profit from these bags will fund a current project of the EC to help Preble’s natural setting. These bags make great presents and are a neat way to protect our world from landfill overload caused by plastic bags.
Cell Phones for Soldiers
“Fox Communities Credit Union is collecting cell phones for soldiers. Each cell phone is good for up to a 75 minutes calling card for a soldier. Please drop off your cell phone at your In-School Credit Union.”
Link Crew
This is reminder to all Link Crew students. Please consider attending the upcoming training being offered on suicide prevention. Did you know that suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death amongst adolescents? Did you also know that Freshman students are identified as the group at highest risk of having suicidal thoughts? We are being proactive at Preble and making efforts to increase awareness of warning signs of suicide and how to help a friend through education. The training will be conducted on January 6th from 3:15-4:45 in the LMC. This will count towards one of your required Link Crew events. Please sign up in the Student Services office so we can plan accordingly.
The Buzz
The Buzz staff will be meeting Monday Dec 21 to finish up the latest issue. All editors and layout people must attend. If there are any articles out, they must be in by Friday Dec 18.
