FCCLA
A message from FCCLA: Don’t forget to turn in your Turkey Baskets to the LMC before the start of first period, tomorrow, Thursday, November 19th. Voting will begin during first hour and will go all day. Each vote will cost 25 cents. You may vote as many times as you like. Money collected from voting will be donated to the Children’s Miracle Network. Remember that the top three winning baskets will have a treat catered to them by our own Culinary Arts students!
Preble Gay-Straight Alliance
The Preble Gay-Straight Alliance is sponsoring a Thanksgiving Basket for the homeless in the Green Bay area.
You can provide support for the homeless by bringing any non-perishable food items to room 106, all day today.
The deadline is today, so please assist us in providing some food so that the homeless in the Green Bay area can have a Thanksgiving meal.
The Preble GSA is having a meeting immediately after school in room 107 to complete the basket so donations can be made then as well.
Everyone is welcome.
Preble Movie Night
Hey Preble, are you looking for a great, cheap way to spend Friday night? Link Crew would like to invite you to Night at the Movies this Friday. Choose from four movies and get a ticket and a small popcorn for just $7.00, that’s two dollars less than the price at the door! Movies all start between 6:00 and 7:00 at the Marcus Cinema on the east side. Buy your ticket at lunch today through Friday. This year’s movies are 2012, A Christmas Carol, The Blind Side, and Planet 51.
We also have a limited supply of 30 tickets to Twilight: New Moon that will be sold for $9.00 on a first come, first-served basis.
Today’s movie trivia question is: Before he was Edward in the Twilight series, Robert Pattinson was in what other movie series based on a series of books?
If you know the answer, submit your guess at the ticket booth during the lunch hours. Today’s winner will be announced during the 1-minute announcements.
