If you are looking for a way to give back to the community, change something in our school or community you think could be improved, gain valuable work experience, or just build your student resume and references, please consider the Do Something Club.
Do Something was founded in 1993 by actor Andrew Shue. He had a very simple dream: what if making a difference became as important to American education other extra curriculars and even athletics? He believed American youth could learn leadership, citizenship, and character-and our democracy would be stronger for it.
If this sounds like a fit for you please join us Thursday at 3:10 in room 210!

Environmental Club
Today the Environmental Club will be going to Baird Creek to pick wildflower and grass seeds to do oak savanna restoration within the parkway. If you are interested, come to room 216 after school and dress for the weather.
FCA
Fellowship of Christian Athletes will begin meeting this Sunday at 7 pm. This week will be a welcome and fellowship night complete with food and games. Bring a snack or dessert to share! We will have T-Shirts for sale at $10. This would be a great time to check out FCA!
Volleyball
Congratulations to all 3 girls’ volleyball teams for their wins over Ashwaubenon last night. Varsity swept the Jaguars to improve to 20-1 on the season and 6-0 in the conference. JV is now 12-3 and the freshmen improved to 9-4. The volleyball teams will play at home on Thursday versus Sheboygan South.
GSA
The Preble Gay Straight Alliance will be meeting after school today in room 307.

The Preble/East JV Boy's Volleyball Team lost 3 games last night to Kaukauna with scores of 25-8, 25-11, 25-10.
The varsity boy’s volleyball team lost to Kaukauna last night in 3 games. The next match is Tuesday at home against Appleton West.

(The Political Awareness Club) will meet on Wednesday after school in Room 105. New members are always welcomed.
Skills USA
Technology Engineering Students,The first Skills USA meeting will be held Thursday October 1st at 3:05 in Room 153. New Members Welcome
Attention Tennis Team:
The end of the year banquet has been moved to Monday - October 12! Same time, same everything else. There will be a mandatory JV meeting on Tuesday, October 6 - immediately after school in Room 245 (across from math lab). Players should bring any uniforms that have not been turned in. We will vote on awards and complete some other paperwork. The meeting will be approximately 45 mintues.
Wisconsin Education Fair
The Wisconsin Education Fair will take place on this evening, Wednesday, September 30th at St. Norbert College in the Schuldes Sports Center from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This is a great opportunity for Junior and Senior students to meet individually with over 100 representatives from universities, colleges, technical and cosmetology schools, and military branches. Representatives will provide information regarding college applications and requirements, financial aid, housing etc.
There is no musical rehearsal tonight.
The scenes that were scheduled for tonight will be blocked tomorrow night.
Tomorrow is the last day we will accept t-shirt orders for anyone involved in the musical.
Women in engineering Career Day
UW-Platteville will sponsor a “Women in engineering Career Day” on their campus Monday, October 26th. The cost is $15. Registration deadline is Oct. 12. Further information available in the Career Center.

JV and Varstiy Boys soccer won their games last night over Notre Dame. JV won 3-1. Goals were scored by Zach Nellis, Austin Clermont, & Edgar Landeros.
Varsity won 3-2 and is now in FIRST place in the conference. Sean Boulanger scored 2 goals and had the assist to Magic Vang who scored the game winning goal with 1:04 left on the clock.

The Marlins beat Ashwaubenon with a score of 52-42.
