Class Rings
Attention Sophmores and anyone interested in ordering a class ring, representatives from Brickhouse School Services will be located in the ticket booth during the lunch hours today taking orders for Preble class rings. Please remember to turn your order in today. Class rings will be on display and order packets will be available if you are interested in ordering a Preble class ring. Stop by and check it out!

Student Services
Student Services has had a number of students coming in and requesting a print out of their schedule in order to have an ID number for hot lunch. If you have forgotten your ID or have lost your ID student services will NO longer print schedules for this purpose. You must have your ID on you in order to get hot lunch.

Environmental Club
There will be no environmental club meeting today.

Shoes for the Shoeless
Millions of people go without a pair of shoes for their entire lifetimes. Preble’s FFA has organized a "Shoes for the Shoeless" drive to collect gently used shoes to send overseas to second and third world countries. Please drop off your shoes in room 185 or 187 with Mr. Zeinert or Mr. C. All students and faculty are encouraged to participate in filling the display case. We will be collecting shoes through November 20th, so bring in your shoes for the shoeless.

Preble Volleyball
Congratulations to all 3 girls’ volleyball teams for their wins over Manitowoc last night. Varsity won in 4 close sets to improve to 8-0 in the conference. JV and freshmen each swept the Ships. The volleyball teams are in action again on Thursday night at Bay Port.

The Preble/East JV Boy’s Volleyball team won 2 out of 3 games against Appleton West last night. The scores were 26-24, 26-28 and 26-24.

The boy’s varsity volleyball team beat Appleton West last night 25-22, 22-25, 25-20, and 25-20.The team hosts a JV and Varsity tournament this Saturday in the Dessart Center. Play begins at 9:00am. We hope to see you there.

Preble Gay-Straight Alliance
The Preble Gay-Straight Alliance is have a meeting today immediately after school in room 107.
Everyone is welcome.

Jonathan Heider
This weekend there is a very important fundraiser for an awesome individual here at Preble. Jonathan Heider and his amazing skills were featured on the CBS national news on Friday night and there is a fundraiser for him at Circle Tap in Denmark this Sunday, October 11th. To help aide the cause, the organizers are holding a bake sale. They are asking for bakery items to help raise money for Jonathan and his awesome Olympic Journey. If you have items to benefit Jonathan’s cause please drop them off in Mr. Nez’s room 141 or ask a Sting Cancer officer or advisor for assistance.

NWTC College Preview
NWTC is sponsoring a "College Preview" open house on Thursday, Oct. 22 from 5:30pm-7:30pm. Students will have opportunity to learn about admissions, Financial Aid, Scholarships, and accommodation and Support Services. Students will also have the chance to tour the campus, meet instructors and ask questions. Registration form available in the Career Center.
PAC (The Political Awareness Club) will meet on Wednesday after school in Room 105. New members are always welcomed.

Spanish Club
There is a Spanish Club meeting today at 3:05 in room 221. Please come and join us to hear a presentation about cultural events in Spain. If you have any questions please see Miss Fisher in room 221.

Volunteer Opportunities
There are many volunteer opportunities available for interested students located in the Career Center. The latest opportunity is for the Martin Elementary Fall Fest. It will take place on
Oct. 27 from 5pm-7:30pm. Stop in Career Center for further information.
