FBLA
Interested in a career in Business or Marketing? If so, you need to attend an informational meeting for the Preble Chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America Wednesday after school. The meeting will be held in room 146 at 3:05 pm on Wednesday.

MAC Scholars
MAC Scholars will meet TODAY after school from 3:00 to 4:00 pm in ROOM 107A

Yearbook
Due to Parent/Teacher Conferences Thursday after school, the first yearbook meeting has been rescheduled for next Monday, October 19 in Room 205 after school.

Vox Box and the Knitting Clubs will still be meeting this Wednesday after school in Room 205.

Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery
An officer from the Military Entrance Processing Station will be at Preble Tuesday, October 27th, to administer the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery or ASVAB. If you are interested in taking the ASVAB, please sign up in the Career Center by Friday, October 23rd, and pick up an information booklet. We have space for 25 students. The ASVAB will be administered in room 208 to juniors and seniors starting at 7:30 a.m. Please bring two No. 2 pencils with you.

Art Club
Anyone interested in joining Art Club please come to our informational meeting tomorrow after school in room 180. We will discuss project ideas, and create a calendar of our meetings for the year. All are welcome.

DECA
There will be a 30 minute DECA meeting after School in room 136 today.

Link Crew Leaders
If you missed today’s meeting you need to see one of the advisors as soon as possible to pick up important information and forms. See Mrs. Rowe in Student Services, Mrs. Geyman in Room 222, or Mr. Yonts in Room B116.

NHS students
Have you filled out the Co-Curricular Code –if not please stop in Student Services to pick up the form. Form must be completed by all students to be eligible to be a member of NHS. When completed bring it to Student Services. Each student must be involved in a least three activities throughout the year. The CODE must be completed to participate. See Mr. Pannier if you have questions.

COOL FOR SCHOOL JEANS DRIVE
“Fox Communities Credit Union is sponsoring “COOL FOR SCHOOL JEANS DRIVE.” Your jeans will be donated to Preble’s very own clothes closet. “The Hive” at Preble H.S. will distribute to those student’s in need. For each pair of jeans you donate from Oct.12th-16th…you will receive 5 raffle tickets towards our Fall Promotion Gift Baskets!”

Culinary Arts
We are currently preparing for this year’s State Culinary Competition. If you are interested in being an award winning culinarian, please attend this Thursday’s meeting which discusses important information regarding this year’s competition. The meeting will be held in room 140 at 3:00 on Thursday, October 15. Any questions, please see Mrs. Spence.

The environmental club will meet Wednesday after school in room 218 to discuss plans for the year.

Fishing Club
Attention Fishing Club. There will be a meeting Thursday morning in room 228. The meeting will start a 7am. Please get your sheets signed and turned in to Mr. Valley.

Girl's Volleyball
Girls volleyball hosts their last regular season game tonight when they play Green Bay East. Freshmen and JV will start at 5:30pm, with varsity to follow at around 7pm. Students and staff can sign up to win SWARM shirts at the concessions stand. Come support the Hornets as they attempt to clinch the conference title tonight.

PSAT
If you are a sophomore or junior who signed up to take the PSAT test tomorrow, October 14th, periods 1-3, please report directly to the LMC no later than 7:25 am on the day of the test. Do NOT report to your first hour class. Late arrivals may risk being denied admission to the test. You should also bring two No. 2 pencils, a scientific or graphing calculator, your picture ID, and your social security number. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Killion in Student Services.

Volunteer Opportunities
Looking for volunteer opportunities? Check out the volunteer table in the Career Center. There are many events going on now.

Martin Elementary School is in need of volunteers for their annual Halloween Fall Fest on Oct. 27th.

The Green Bay West Lions Club is in need of volunteers this Sunday to assist at the gate distributing materials before the Packer game. Must register in Career Center by this Thursday.
