Shoes for the Shoeless
What kind of shoes do you have on right now? Nike’s? Adidas? Puma’s? How many pairs of shoes do you have at home that you don’t wear or have grown out of? Millions of people in second and third world countries don’t even own one pair of shoes in a lifetime! Preble’s FFA is trying to change that. The FFA is organizing a “Shoes for the Shoeless” drive starting next Monday. We will be collecting gently used pairs of practical shoes with the goal of filling the Agribusiness display case to the top by Thanksgiving. We will divide the case into 4 sections; 1 for each class. As added incentive, the class that fills their section first will get a prize from the FFA. Please drop off your shoes with Mr. C or Mr. Zeinert in rooms 185 or 187. We ask that you donate so that those without shoes can own a pair for the holidays. Thank you, Preble FFA.
