Marlins Swim Team
Saturday the Marlins made a strong showing in the Rocket Invitational. Swimming against 10 teams the Marlins finished 7th place with a total score of 165 points.
Next meet Tuesday Sept. 29th at Ashwaubenon. Go Marlins!!

Cross Country
On Saturday, the boys and girls Cross Country traveled to Manitowoc to participate in the annual Manitowoc Invitational.
The varsity boy’s varsity placed 3rd out of 18 teams. Leading the way for the Hornets were: Matt VandeHei-4th place, Andrew McDonald-27th and Ian Mosbrucker- 28th.
The girl’s varsity team also placed 3rd out of 18 teams. Leading the way for the Lady Hornets were: Jill Englebert- 6th, Lauren Orfield- 10th, and Jessica Kiley- 14th.
The JV boys team placed 2nd. Pacing the squad were: Greg LaHaye-5th, Jaren Sternard- 12th and Kyle Furlong- 13th.
The JV girls team also took home 2nd place honors. Top finishers for the lady hornets were: Jessica Zimonick- 2nd, Kati Long- 5th and Taylor VandenPlas- 7th.
Congratulations all Cross Country runners on your efforts at this meet!
Girls Golf
On Friday, the girls golf team played in the conference championship meet finishing 4th and ending the season 4th in the conference.
Leading the hornets were Allison Stroman and Olivia Lindsley with 93’s and Alex Wolf with a 95.
Olivia Lindsley was named first team all conference and Alex Wolf was named honorable mention all conference.
The team travels to Thornberry Creek on Wednesday for the WIAA Regional.
Girls Volleyball
Congratulations to the JV girls’ volleyball team for capturing the title of the Preble Invitational. After losing their opening match to Stevens Point, the team won its next four matches to finish in first.
The varsity team, which is now ranked 10th in the state, took second place with a 4-1 record, losing its first match of the year to 8th-ranked Merrill.
The girls’ volleyball teams are in action again on Tuesday night at Ashwaubenon.
Attention varsity girls’ volleyball players: remember that you need to arrange transportation to Red Smith this afternoon. Be prepared to practice following the clinic. See Coach Heimerman if you have questions.
