ACT Test Prep
UW- Oshkosh is offering an ACT Test Prep Course on Saturdays August 29 – October 10, 2009. Students will be provided 12 hours of instruction in the four content areas; take an official retired ACT test, be introduced to the new essay component of the Act test, and more. The Fee is $179. Registrations accepted on a first come first serve basis.
Applications available in the Career Center.

New to WI this year is the ACT test. It will take place in September of 2009 at Southwest High School. See counselor for further information.


The school store is holding a raffle!

Bring all un-used school supplies to the store for your chance to win!! Will accept supplies until June 10th.

Attention Freshmen:

Worried about your final exams? Stressed about your GPA? Link Crew can help! Come to Refresh & Review on Monday, June 8th from 3:00 – 4:30 in the commons to get help from our new Link Crew Leaders with your final studies. Free refreshments, snacks, and study aids will be available with your student ID. Look for signs in the hallway for more details.

Boy's Volleyball
The boy’s volleyball team will be running the brat barn tomorrow (June 6th ) at Festival Foods. Come out and enjoy some great food and support the team.

The final issue of the Buzz is here! Please send a runner to the Commons to pick up enough copies for your class.

Family 5k Fun Run
Do you want to help provide scholarships for Preble students? Come participate in the 5K Family Fun Run in memory of Jared Gehm. You can pick up a form in the office.

Attention Cross Country runners:
If you missed the pre-season meetings, please stop by the PE area to see Mr. Loritz. Important summer and fall information is available and should be picked up by everyone planning on going out for the 2009 team.

Those interested in participating in the summer Cross Country Bellin XL program need to get the forms in to Mr. Loritz as soon as possible.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes

Fellowship of Christian Athletes will hold their final meeting of the year this Sunday at 7 pm. We will have our summer schedule of events including a pool party, whitewater rafting and a Timber Rattlers game! Please make a point to be there Sunday and invite anyone who would be interested in coming along. We've had a great year and are looking forward to a large group for the last meeting!

Attention all girls Varsity and JV Soccer players.
There will be a short meeting on Monday after school to turn in your uniforms and equipment. Meet in the hallway outside of the gym.

Last night the Varsity girls lost to Bay Port 3-nil in the WIAA Sectional semi-final game which ends the season. Congratulations girls on a great year.

A reminder to Link Crew leaders:
Sign up sheets for summer events are still in student services! If you are interested in helping out with book collection on exam days, Link Crew summer committee day, or summer registration sign up in student services right away! Remember, you will get credit for a Link Crew event for helping out, and this is a great way to demonstrate what kind of leader you want to be!

Burger and Brat Fry
Preble Girls Basketball Program will be hosting a Burger and Brat Fry on June 12 at Copps East on Main Street. Stop by and support the girls basketball program

Science Lab

The last day Science Lab will be open is Monday, June 8th. Please plan accordingly

Boys Tennis
Results from the boys state tennis meet are in. At #1 singles, Bobby McDonald lost in the first round to Eau Claire Memorial, 6-1, 6-1. At #1 doubles, the team of Andrew McDonald and Connor Dougherty won their first round over Verona, 6-3, 0-6, 10-7. Andrew and Connor move on to face Brookfield East this morning.

Any boys tennis players that have not turned in uniforms, please place them in a bag with your name on and return to Mrs. Weuve in Room 245. Uniforms need to be turned in by Monday.
