Asian Club
An Asian Club will be starting at Preble. All students who are interested are invited to attend the meetings this month from 3:00 to 4:00pm. The meetings will be on Thursdays, starting this Thursday right after school in room 149.

This is a great opportunity for you to engage in and support Asian cultural awareness at Preble. Students will take leadership roles to organize, plan, and provide ample activities to promote respect for cultural diversity at Preble.

See Mrs. Thao in Student Services if interested in joining or show up at the meeting THURSDAY after school in room 149 from 3:00 to 4:00pm.

Sting Cancer
Next Wednesday, May 13th will be our second annual Sting Cancer Wear yellow day throughout Green Bay and Brown County. There are already 4 billboards up in Green Bay and Mayor Scmitt will proclaim all of Green Bay wear yellow and Brown County Supervisor Tom Hinz will proclaim all of Brown County wear yellow on May 13th in honor of the Sting Cancer initiative.

It will be a very special day in which we will be able to remember and honor all of our friends who have been touched by cancer.

Without any real advertising, we have had orders for over 3,00 t-shirts and the community outpouring has been amazing.

We want staff and students to have the first chance at the awesome shirts designed by senior Sammi Van Ess and we want to let you know that the yellow shirts will be made available to you on Tuesday May 12th during the lunch hours.

Please support Preble Sting Cancer and all of those that have battled cancer by picking up a shirt for $5 on Tuesday May 12th and be sure to wear your shirt on Wednesday May 13th.

This is a reminder to those who have already read or are currently reading this month’s book selection, Circle of Blood. Meet in the LMC on Thursday, May 14th during the lunch hours for discussion, treats, and extra credit! J
