MAC Scholars
MAC Scholars will meet TODAY after school from 3:00 to 4:00 pm in the back of the LMC by The Career Center. This is our LAST meeting of the year – hope to see you there!

Art Street Volunteers
Attention any students interested in volunteering to help out at this year’s Art booth at Art Street. We will be having a henna art demonstration and informational meeting this Thursday in Ms. Nooyen’s Art room 183 after school. Mark your calendars. Art Street will be August 28, 29, and 30 this year.

Attention boys interested in playing volleyball next season:
There will be an informational meeting Thursday, May 28th at 6:30pm in the gym at Preble. There will be open gym after until 8:30. If you cannot attend this meeting, please contact coach Duffney.
Cross Country
Attention those interested in joining the 2009 Preble Cross Country Team:
There will be an informational meeting for the girls on Wednesday, May 27th and boys on Monday, June 1st at 3:15 in room 264 (health room). Whether you are a veteran runner or brand new to the sport of distance running the meeting will help answer any questions about the upcoming season. We need as many girls out for the team as possible, there are no cuts from the team and everyone participates in every meet. Be a part of a great group of young people and join the ongoing tradition of Preble Cross Country!!!
Dance Team Rummage Sale
Don’t miss the Preble Dance Team’s annual Rummage Sale. There will be 18 families donating name brand clothes, sporting equipment, furniture, toys, and more! It will be held this coming Friday, May 29th and Saturday, May 30th from 8:00am – 4:00pm on Beth Drive. For information and directions, see a dance team member.

Attention Soccer fans.
On Saturday the Preble Lady Hornets defeated DePere in a shootout after double overtime. The win means Preble finishes the regular season in 3rd place in the conference. Congratulations Ladies! JV also played on Saturday and battled DePere to a 1-1 tie.
Preble begins post-season Regional action on Thursday against Shawano. The game is being played at Green Bay West at 6:30!
Boys Golf
Varsity Golfers 2nd in Brown County Meet: The varsity golf team finished in 2nd in the Brown County Meet held at Wander Springs Golf Club on Friday. Tom Boockmeier finished second overall with a 76, while Kyle Hafeman finished tied for 8th with a 79.
The golf team will begin WIAA Tournament with the regional competition held at Brown County Golf Club on Tuesday.
Attention new Link Crew leaders!
Sign up sheets for summer events are now in student services! If you are interested in helping out with book collection on exam days, Link Crew summer committee day, or summer registration sign up in student services right away! Remember, you will get credit for a Link Crew event for helping out, and this is a great way to demonstrate what kind of leader you want to be!
Attention Juniors and seniors interested in summer employment…
NWTC is offering a Summer Youth Work Experience Program. Applicants must complete the Work Certified Class beginning June 15 – July 3rd. Actual employment starts on July 6th and runs through August 28th. Employment will be in the Landscape/Horticulture area completing projects around the NWTC campus. Pay will be $7.15/hour. Upon completion of the Work certification class, participants will get receive a $400 stipend. Stop in the Career Center for details.
Today the NHS Penny War will end.
Please bring your bucket to Student Services any time during period 3 today.
Write your classroom number and number of students in your class on a sheet and place it in the bucket.
The winning classroom will be announced at the end of the day with donuts for the winners.

Seniors, the service-learning cords are here. Those who have turned in 100+ service-learning hours during their high school career by May 1st 2009 are eligible to receive the cord. Please pick them up today in the Career Center.
Seniors who have not completed their service-learning hours are reminded that the hours or “plan” are due today.
Senior LMC fines are listed on the LMC window.

If you have a chance come out and watch your Varsity softball regional game Tuesday at 4:30 @ Baird Park against Appleton North.
Track Announcement
Boys and girls track athletes not in the regional meet this week are reminded to turn in their uniforms as soon as possible.
Those in the meet today are dismissed at 1:30pm.
The track and field awards banquet forms are due by Thursday of this week. You must pre pay and return the form if you plan on attending.
Senior track athletes must return their information sheets by Thursday
The school store is holding a raffle!
Bring all un-used school supplies to the store for your chance to win!! Will accept supplies until June 10th.
