Attention TREES for Tomorrow Girls 09
Meet in Mrs. B’s room 217 after school on Thursday for a J-PEG party!!! Bring your pictures or your flash drives or your camera and cables! We’ll watch everyone pictures on the big screen and pick out good ones for the yearbook. See you then!
Wear Bandana Day for Mrs. Sundstrom
Wear Bandana Day for Mrs. Sundstrom is on Thursday, April 30th. You are only able to wear teal and purple bandanas. It will cost $1.00 on April 30th to wear the bandana. There will be limited bandanas available during the lunch hours on Tuesday the 28th and Wednesday the 29th. The cost of bandanas will be donations only. All proceeds will go towards finding a cure for LMS.
Attention boys interested in playing volleyball:
There will be an open gym on Thursday April 30th at Preble from 6:30-8:30pm.
Need Service Hours?
If you need service hours and want to do something to improve Preble’s woods, the Environmental club will be doing an invasive species removal tomorrow. Be sure to wear clothes that you can get dirty. We will meet in room 216.
Girls Golf
There will be a meeting for any girl interested in joining the girl’s golf team next fall on Tuesday, May 5 after school in room 146. Please see Mr. Johnson for more information.
Girls Track and Field JV’s
The Preble girls placed second in the 5-team JV meet last night held here at Preble. The girls were led by first place finishes in the 100 and 300 hurdles by Jena Smits, Jacy Georgia in the pole vault and Kayla Alexander in the 800. Congratulations girls.
Popcorn for Fines
Popcorn for fines only happens every few years. Today is the day. You still have time to trade microwave popcorn for your fine. See the LMC window for details.
Student Council
Attention Student Council members! Plan to meet this Friday, May 1 during Period 5 in Room 205 for an end-of-year event planning meeting. If you cannot attend due to class commitments, please see Mrs.Marshall in room 200.
ICSC
Attention all 9th, 10th, and 11th graders! Green Bay schools is looking for five students to represent Preble High School on the Intra-City Student Council with the School Board next year. The Board would like a diverse representation of the students at Preble, and if you are willing to attend meetings on Sunday and Monday evenings and at other times throughout the month, you are encouraged to run for ICSC rep. Forms are now available in the Main Office and are due this Friday at 7:30 AM. The election will be held next week.
SENIORS:
Service Learning hours are due Tuesday, May 26. Your requirement is not complete until they are on file in the Career Center. If you have completed the hours, please turn them in as soon as possible. If you will not have met the 24 hour requirement by May 26 and wish to participate in the graduation ceremony, you must have a “service plan” on file in the Career Center indicating how you will complete the service. Once the requirement is met, you will receive your diploma. Remember the “Plan” is your ticket to participate in the graduation ceremony!
Pick up a “Plan” from Mrs. Bossell in the Career Center.

The Boys Varsity tennis Team defeated Sheboygan South 5-2 Singles winners were: Jaren Sternard and Shane Heyrman. Doubles winners were: Andrew Mc Donald & Connor Dougherty, Matt Nockerts & Aron Stumbas, Jordan Weuve & John VandenHouten.
The JV Boys Tennis Team defeated Sheboygan South 7-2 Singles winner was Daniel Ullmer, Doubles winners were: Brad Johnson & Taylor Ryan, Sovann Khong & Alex Webster, Neil Ropson & Aaron Drossart, Sam Katers & Collin Marshall, and AJ Kempe & Tanner Keim.
Attention: All track and field athletes
This is a reminder to all track and field athletes that we have team picture day today at practice. Hustle down immediately after school, and get yourself prepared for pictures. There are other groups that are getting team pictures as well. We don’t want to lose our spot in the picture rotation.
Please bring your uniform. If you forgot it, make arrangements to get it during your lunch period. We do not have any extra uniforms to borrow for the pictures.
If you wish to purchase the picture package, you need payment in the Photographers envelope.
Our men’s track and field team won the Green Bay City JV meet last night at Preble. Our team won 14 of the 18 events, and compiled 298 team points compared to the next highest team that had 73 team points.
