2009 TREES for Tomorrow GIRL’S

MAC Scholars
MAC Scholars will meet TODAY after school from 3:00 to 4:00 pm in the back of the LMC by The Career Center
Cheerleaders
Any cheerleaders who have not turned in their uniform need to do so by this Friday, April 24th. Also any cheerleader who has not turned in their camp registration, payment, and apparel order need to do so by Friday. If you have any questions please contact your coach.
Attention Art Club Members:
There is a change in the last two meeting dates. The final Art Club meeting will be moved to May 21st for our end of the year party due to a schedule conflict. Permission slips for the henna art is required. There will be an optional meeting on
May 28th for anyone interested in doing henna for Art Street. See you on April 30 for fingerpainting.
Attention current Link Crew leaders:
be sure to wear your Link Crew shirt on Wednesday so you can be in the group pictures during 4th hour.
Attention students who have picked up a Link Crew application for next year, the applications are due in the main office or to one of the advisors by Friday at the end of the school day. Remember you can also sign up for an after school interview by signing up in Room 222.

There will be an informational meeting for any girls who are interested in playing hockey next year on Monday, May 4 at 5:00 pm in Green Bay East's cafeteria.

The Hornet Chess Club continues its end-of-season tournament today and will meet from 3:00 until 4:00 in room 117.
Attention all Soccer fans!
Tonight Preble hosts Ashwaubenon in a Fox Valley Classic Conference game. Kickoff time is 6:30 p.m.
Also, congratulations to the Ladies Soccer team who brought home the First Place Trophy from the Wausau Invitational Tournament over the weekend. This was a 9-team tournament, so congratulations Ladies! And we will see you at the game tonight!

Due to the course being closed, practice for today is cancelled.
The Preble Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Combo
The Preble Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Combo will be holding their Spring Concert with guest vocalist & saxophonist Woody Mankowski and special guests, the Edison Middle School Jazz Ensemble. The concert is tonight at 7:00 in the auditorium and admission is $3.00 at the door. Doors will open at 6:30. Hope to see you there for some great jazz!
Language Arts Academic Team
Members of the Language Arts Academic Team are reminded to RSVP for tonight’s party to Mrs. Kraszewski by noon today .
MORP
MORP is coming this Friday 7:00-10:00 pm in the old gym. Hurry to the thrift store before they are all sold our of the great MORP outfits!
Remember though, they must be school appropriate!
Tickets will be sold at the door, but remember non-Preble students must get non-student dance applications which are available in the main office. Tickets sold at the door are still only $10.00.
There will be 3- $50 gift certificates along with other prizes given away. There is also a $500 scholarship that will be awarded.
PAC
PAC will meet on Wednesday after school in Room 105. WFRV (channel 5) will be at our meeting to report on PAC’s efforts with the Honor Flights to the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C. . New members are always welcomed.

Congratulations to the Freshmen Softball team for winning Freshmen Ashwaubeon Invitational Tournament last weekend. The team took 1st place in the 8 team tournament by defeating Appleton North, BayPort, and Ashwaubeon in the final game.
The Varsity & JV softball games are cancelled for tonight. Indoor practices will be held Freshman 3:15-4:15, JV's 4:15-5:15, Varsity 5:15-6:15
Bowling Team
The Bowling Team Party will be held at 3:30 on Monday at Rivera Lanes. The cost is $3.00.
LMC
Today the LMC is limited hours 3, 5, 6, 7 and 8.
Attention: all freshman track and field athletes.
This is a reminder that you will be released from school at 1:50 today for the track meet. The bus leaves 15 minutes after release, so hustle down to get you equipment.
Please bring proper clothing for warmth and protection.

Help us show the power of Youth! From 10-2:00, the Latino Club and The Do Something club will be helping Heritage Hill get ready for their spring programs. Please see Mr. Baudhuin in Room 210 or Mrs. Bossel in the career center to sign up.
Today, the Do Something Club will be cleaning the Baird’s Creek Parkway in the Danz School area. We will be meeting in Room 210 @ 3:10, unless the WEATHER STOPS US.
