Announcement for Post Prom Party
Juniors, your Prom will be here before you know it! It is on Saturday April 4 and we want to remind you about the Post Prom party that evening from 10:30p.m. to 2:00a.m. at Edison Middle School. You won’t want to miss all of the fun! There are so many activities to pick from, including: Black Jack, Ping Pong, board games, Basketball, Volleyball, Karaoke, a D.J. and more. There will be prizes given away all night, with some major prizes at the end of the evening. All Juniors and Prom Guests are welcome to this FREE party. You and your guest must be PRE-REGISTERED. Registration forms are in the main office. There will be a lot of food and snacks with soda and water also provided. This is a fun and safe way to end your very special evening!!

Friday the LMC is limited hours 7 and 8.
Track
The Preble girl’s track and field team placed 2nd in an eight team field at Neenah last night. The girls were lead by Gina Gigot’s 2 first place finishes in the hurdles and Katelyn Smith in the 1600 and Kaitlyn Soukup in the 800. Congratulations girls.
Last night a new era in Preble Soccer began. The Varsity Lady Hornets kicked-off the 2009 season with a 3-0 victory against Menasha. The Hornets were led by Sophomore Sierra Valentine who scored 2 goals and Junior Heather Hack who also scored a goal. Goalkeeper Taylor Weuve had 5 saves in recording the shutout. Way to go ladies!
Tonight Preble Varsity continues with another home game against Menominee Falls. Kickoff time is 6:30 p.m. Come see what all the excitement is about and cheer your Soccer Hornets. Good luck girls!
Girls Basketball
Girls basketball players that order picture CD’s or DVD’s should be receiving them today in their math classes. If you ordered one and did not receive it, please see Mrs. Weuve in Room 245.

The Buzz
There will be a staff meeting for the entire Buzz staff on Monday April 6, 2009. We will be discussing the upcoming conference in Oshkosh, plus passing out our new Buzz staff shirts. All articles for the April issue must be in for this meeting.
Spring Play
Tonight’s REHEARSAL for the CAST of Disco Fever will follow the schedule for Act. 1 Scenes 3 and 4.
All seniors among the cast and crews who did not get their picture taken yesterday for the playbill, should go to the auditorium at 3:15 today. Bring the biography forms with you.
ATTENTION CAST AND CREWS:
If you still did not return your contracts to Ms. Schewe you should do so immediately if you still want to be in the play and a member of Preble Players Theatre.

The Presidential Service Award
The Presidential Service Award will be awarded to students who have completed 100+ hours of service from May 1, 2006 – April 30, 2007. Recipients will receive a medal and a certificate signed by President Obama for their service.
If you are one of these outstanding students, please submit your service hours to Mrs. Bossell in the Career Center by April 30th.
New this year is the Civic Engagement Award. This award will be given to freshmen only who have completed 25-99 hours of service as of April 30th. If there is a freshmen who has completed 100+ hours by April 30, he/she will receive the Presidential Award.
Seniors
Seniors, graduation is quickly approaching. An update of service hours has been posted outside of the Student Service Office. Please check it out for any discrepancies. As part of your graduation requirement, you must have 24 hours of service learning completed. Those who do not meet the requirement will not receive a diploma. If you cannot complete the requirement by graduation time, and would like to participate in the graduation ceremony, please see Mrs. Bossell in the Career Center to complete a service “plan”. Having a “plan” on file will allow you to attend the ceremony. Once you’ve completed the hours, you will receive your diploma.

Our men’s freshman/sophomore track and field team did an outstanding job last night in winning the very prestigious UW – Oshkosh Titan Invitational. There were over 25 division one teams at this meet. Congratulations
