MAC Scholars

MAC Scholars will meet TODAY after school from 3:00 to 4:00 pm in the commons.
Remember to bring your t-shirt to decorate for Mix It Up Day tomorrow!

Cheerleading Tryouts

If you are interested in tryouts for the 2009-2010 cheerleading team. Please attend the informational meeting this Thursday, March 19th at 7:00 in the commons. Tryouts will be held the week of March 31st.

Forensics

The Forensics meeting will be on Wed. at 3:10 in Rm. 123. All the information for the District Competition on Thursday will be given and other important items will be discussed. All team members are expected to attend.

Attention German Students!
We will have a brief German Club meeting after school today in Room 200.

GSA

GSA will be collecting white “T” shirts for the Day of Silence today, Thursday, and Friday at the ticket counter in the commons during the lunch periods.

Bring a white “T” shirt along with $2 dollars to participate.

Also, there is a GSA meeting scheduled for this Wednesday after school in room 107 to organize the Day of Silence.

UW-Oshkosh Preview Day

Reminder for students who received permission slips to attend the UW-Oshkosh Preview Day on April 17…permission slips are due in the Career Center this Friday March 20. Please turn in before you leave for spring break!

PAC

The Obama administration has abandoned the term enemy combatant favored under the Bush administration and declared that the president may no longer order suspects deemed to be dangerous captured and held without trial. Join the Political Awareness Club right after school on Wednesday in Room 105 to discuss this and other issues of the day. New members are always welcomed.

Interested in a career in pharmacy?

UW-Madison School of Pharmacy is sponsoring Discovery Day on Saturday March 28. The program is designed for juniors and seniors interested in learning more about the School of Pharmacy degree programs. In addition, students will have the opportunity to interact with current students, faculty and pharmacists. The program runs from 8:30 am-2:00pm. Registration deadline is March 23rd. Stop in the Career Center for further details.

Disco Fever

Tonight’s REHEARSAL for the CAST of Disco Fever will be for Act. 2 Scenes 2 and 3 from 3:15-5:00.

Attention all students interested in the great outdoors.

Once again we have an outstanding opportunity for students who may want to learn more about their environment.

Procter and Gamble is offering 20 scholarships to Preble High School for 10 young women and 10 young men to attend the Trees For Tomorrow Program for 4 days in Eagle River, WI.. The girls will attend from April 22nd to April 25th, the boys from April 29th to May 2nd.

This is a great opportunity for you to participate in hands-on activities in a very unique outdoor environment. You will also be exposed to a large number of career opportunities in the environmental sciences.

If you are interested in applying, pick up an application from Mrs. Bornowski in room 217 or Mr. Grunwaldt in room 230. Applications are due by Thursday, April 9th.

Any student who is interested in participating in an exhibit must pick up a UCP membership form from the MAIN OFFICE and return it there BY MARCH 31. Forms to enter an exhibit will be available AFTER SPRING BREAK. Start planning to make this the best Expo ever!
