Girls Basketball
The girls varsity basketball team traveled to Appleton East for the regional game on Tuesday and won 40-35. It is the first time since 2003 that Preble has won a regional game. Great job girls. The next game is this Saturday at Depere in the regional final with the game starting at 1:30. Please come to show your support for the Lady Hornets.

Wrestling
In 1980, the Preble Wrestling Team qualified 3 wrestlers for the WIAA Individual State Wrestling Tournament in Madison, Wisconsin. One of those 3 participants was a wrestler by the name of Scott VandenAvond. In 1981, The Preble Wrestling Team again qualified 3 wrestlers for the WIAA Tournament. One of those 3 participants was a wrestler by the name of Mark Pennings.

This week Thursday, 2 young men from this years' wrestling team will be proudly competing in the same WIAA Individual State Wrestling Tournament in which their fathers had competed at back in 1980 and 1981. It is with great pride that we wish senior Steve VandenAvond and junior Matt Pennings the best of luck this week as they pursue their personal goals of earning a state wrestling championship.
