The Spring Play this year is called Disco Fever.
A wealthy, English widow and her butler live in a New York City brownstone mansion. The year is 1975. But soon her granddaughters, Tracy, Donna, and Livvy realize something is dreadfully wrong when right from under their noses, movers begin to repossess the expensive, heirloom furniture.
Perkins, the perfect and clever butler tries to tell Madam the problem lies with Stan D. Mann, her unscrupulous business manager. Stan plans to sell their house to a flashy Hollywood producer, but you can bet there’s some underhanded hanky-panky going on.

The girls decide the only way to come up with the mortgage money is to send their grandmother away and turn the mansion into a “Disco Dawg.” Anyone who’s anyone shows up for the opening of the new disco club……. including Stan. Unfortunately while Stan is grooving to the disco beat, he drops dead.

Oh no!! One of the girls is arrested under suspicion of MURDER! Chuck and his three lady detectives, Chuck’s Angels, try to help the bumbling police officers solve the case, but who will save the day and expose the real murderer?

This play is filled with laughs galore, unexpected twists and turns, eccentric characters, suspicious and strange events, wild disco dancing, and those favorite disco hits of the Bee Gees, Donna Summer, KC & the Sunshine Band, and many more.

There are speaking roles for 16 women, 14 men and extras needed to complete the cast. Although this is not a musical, there will be some great disco hits included in the show for singing and dancing roles.

For all who wish to audition for a role in the play, there will be an important drama meeting on Monday, Feb. 16th at 3:15 in the choir room. You must attend this meeting if you plan on learning more about the play and signing up for an audition time.

Auditions will be on Wed. Feb.18th and Thur. the 19th beginning at 3:15 in the choir room with callbacks on Friday the 20th. The CREWS MEETING will be on Monday the 23rd at 3:15 in the auditorium followed by a CAST READ-THROUGH at 4:00 in the choir room.
