It was a HUGE success!! The commons was filled to capacity – with standing room only for the overflowing crowd!! We collected HUNDREDS of canned goods for Paul’s Pantry!!

1st place - Kayla Jenerson for her gymnastics routine
2nd place - Jonathan Heider for his break dancing
3rd place - Frances Cortes for her singing
Group prizes:
1st place – Team Enkei for their break dancing routine
2nd place – Robert Fisher & Shaquille Howard for their dancing
3rd place – Ms. Jenny Olson and the American Cabaret Belly Dance

Culinary Arts
Today the Culinary Management Teams from Preble and Southwest will be facing off in the auditorium in preparation for their State competition in March. During all three lunch periods, these two teams will be answering a variety of questions in a jeopardy-style format. Come to the auditorium and see what you know while helping support our Culinary Management Teams.

EC members get your t-shirt and $1 to Mrs Kispert ASAP. Shirts will be done by the next meeting which is March 5th.
Girls Basketball
The girls varsity basketball team will travel to Appleton East for the regional game on Tuesday. Please come and show your support.
Interested in a great service Opportunity?
A representative of the Humane Society will be here Tuesday to receive the check from the Do Something Club.
She will also talk about OTHER volunteer opportunities at the Humane society. If you have any interest in working with animals in the future as just an interest or a possible profession, this would be a great service learning opportunity!

The Language Arts Academic Team
The Language Arts Academic Team will meet after school tomorrow for our final discussion of Pride and Prejudice. Bring your books and notes. The discussion will be followed with the test for team placement in the competition. You should plan to stay until about 5 PM.
Math Team
Congratulations to the Math Team for their 2nd place finish in the 10 team St. Norbert Math Meet. Billy LaLuzerne and Augustine Santillan tied for 3rd in the underclassmen grade division. Codey May placed 7th and McKinley Meyer placed 2nd in the 11th grade division. Jason Jacobs earned a 3rd place finish in the 12th grade division. McKinley Meyer’s performance earned him the 2nd highest overall score.
PAC
This weekend, several Republican governors have said they will not accept stimulas package money for their respective states. Join the Political Awareness Club right after school on Wednesday in Room 105 to discuss this and other issues of the day. New members are always welcomed.
Spring Play
The CAST LIST for the spring play, Disco Fever is posted on the Choir hallway bulletin board and next to Rm 118.
The CREWS MEETING will be TODAY at 3:15 in the auditorium.
The cast meeting will begin at 4:15 in the choir room.
There will be a Junior Prom committee meeting today after school at 3:05 in room 200 for any Juniors who would like to give input on the Prom theme and decorations.

Bead for Life
The African jewelry sales have ended. Ms. Nooyen would like to thank everyone who purchased the Bead for Life jewelry and those who made donations. We raised more than $2,000 for the families of Kampala, Uganda. This is a great help to purchase food and medicine for the people of Africa that live on less than a dollar a day. Preble has once again showed their generous giving spirit! Thanks so much! Ms. Nooyen
Attention: All track and field athletes.
This is a reminder to all track and field athletes that you need to have all paper work complete and in the main office before you begin practice in 2 weeks.
You also need to have apparel orders in by the end of this week, if you wish to purchase any of the Preble Track apparel
If you missed the track and field sign up meeting, you need to fill out the sign up forms in the Phy Ed office, and pick up information.
