Buzz
The Buzz staff will be working on articles after school today. Meet in room 132 by 3:10.
The Spring Play this year is a comedy murder mystery called Disco Fever.
There are speaking roles for 16 women, 14 men, and extras needed to complete the cast. For all who wish to audition for a role in the play, there will be an important drama meeting on today, Feb. 16th at 3:15 in the choir room.
Auditions will be on Wed. and Thur. beginning at 3:15 in the choir room with callbacks on Friday the 20th.
The CREWS MEETING will be next Monday the 23rd at 3:15 in the auditorium followed by a CAST READ-THROUGH at 4:00 in the choir room.
Getting Money for college is easy.
Show up….cash in. College Goal Sunday “Weekend Edition” will take place this weekend February 21 and February 22 at East High School. Start time is 2pm. This is an opportunity for seniors to get free assistance with completing your Federal Aid Application (FAFSA) Stop in the Career Center for further information.
FBLA
Attention all FBLA members attending the State FBLA Competition, there will a meeting this Wednesday morning at 7:00 am in room 146.

There is an Open gym for Girls Soccer tonight from 7:30 - 9:30 p.m. If you have questions please check the Preble Soccer website, www.preblesoccer.com or see Coach Anderson in room 144. Only a few weeks left until tryouts…see you tonight!

Girls softball open gym 7:30 tonight. Only one left after tonight.
Pizza Night
Happy Joe's pizza is always good and everyone loves to play in their game room. The dance team is hosting a pizza night and they will earn 20% of each order that you get. So pick up you slip in the office, or ask someone on the dance team or just mention that you are from Preble and they will give us our percent. Wednesday, February, 18, Happy Joes. Again that is this Wednesday at Happy Joe's. Dine in, take out, or have delivered. Thank you for helping out the dance team.
Girls Basketball
Congratulations to the girls varsity basketball team for beating Sheboygan North, the number 14th ranked team is the state on Friday night 61-50. All of your hard work paid off. Great Job.

This is a reminder to the Language Arts Academic Team that we will meet after school tomorrow in Room 127. Bring your copies of Pride and Prejudice and your notes on the reading. Plan to stay until 4:30.
Discovery Day for High School Students
The University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy is hosting its annual discovery Day for High School Students on Saturday, March 28, 2009. This program is designed to provide high school juniors/seniors with information about careers in pharmacy and pharmacology/toxicology and the academic preparation necessary for a major I one of these degree programs. Advanced registration is required. Stop in the Career Center for further information.

Our fourth Math Meet is tonight, Monday, Feb. 16 at West DePere High School.

The Political Awareness Club will meet right after school on Wednesday in Room 105 to view portions of “Outfoxed,” a documentary which contradict’s the channel’s claim of being fair and unbiased. We will also discuss Venezuela's Hugo Chavez win vote to remain in office. New members are always welcomed.
Track and Field
If you missed the track and field sign up and information meeting, you need to report to the Phy. Ed. Office, fill out a sign up form and pick up the information.
Track and field begins in less than one month, and you need to have everything in order before you can participate.
Anyone that plans on ordering any track and field apparel must have the order information and payment returned before March 2nd. Remember, this is a one-time order. If you miss the order deadline, you will not be able to order.

Come to the Upward Bound Club DJ Dance at the Eastside Boys & Girls Club on Saturday, February 28th from 6 to 10 pm. Dress code is casual, but school appropriate – no hats or bandanas
You MUST bring your school ID!!!
Tickets will be sold during the lunch hours
Tickets cost - $5 for individuals, $9 for couples, $7 at the door
There will also be a DDR competition – only $2 to enter!

Walking Club meets tonight after school. Meet by the LMC at 3:10 and we will walk until 3:45 pm. All are welcome to join us.
