Getting Money for college is easy.
Show up….cash in. College Goal Sunday “Weekend Edition” will take place this weekend February 21 and February 22 at East High School. Start time is 2pm. This is an opportunity for seniors to get free assistance with completing your Federal Aid Application (FAFSA) Stop in the Career Center for further information.

EC
EC members get your t-shirt and $1 to Mrs Kispert ASAP. Shirts will be done by the next meeting which is March 5th.

Girls Basketball
The Preble girls played Southwest last night. The freshmen team lost 34 to 49 but made good improvement this season. The jv team won 44-34. The varsity team won, 48-20. Great job girls. The varsity team will travel to Appleton East for the regional game on Tuesday. Please come and show your support.

Discovery Day for High School Students
The University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy is hosting its annual discovery Day for High School Students on Saturday, March 28, 2009. This program is designed to provide high school juniors/seniors with information about careers in pharmacy and pharmacology/toxicology and the academic preparation necessary for a major I one of these degree programs. Advanced registration is required. Stop in the Career Center for further information.


The callbacks for the spring play, Disco
Fever are posted on the Choir hallway bulletin board and next to Rm 118 and will begin at 3:15 in the choir room.

Callbacks are simply to see characters in different combinations that was not able to be done in the auditions.

If your name is not on this list, you may still be chosen to be in the play. If your name is on this list, it does not necessarily mean that you will be chosen.

The CREWS MEETING will be next Monday at 3:15 in the auditorium followed by a CAST READ-THROUGH at 4:00 in the choir room.

Graduation Speakers
Any seniors interested in trying out to be graduation ceremony speakers should pick up an information sheet from their language arts teacher or the main office. The speech must be 2-3 minutes in length and focus on the class motto, “Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened.”

The actual speech contest will be held on Monday, March 9th in Room 131 at 3:10 P.M.

The deadline to sign up is Monday, March 2nd.

See Mrs. Kreuser in Room 131 with any questions.

Attention Juniors!!
We will have a Prom planning meeting on Monday after school is room 200. Students who choose to be on the Junior Prom Committee should attend. We will select the theme.

Talent Show
Check out the AWESOME acts at Preble’s first Talent Show TONIGHT at 7:00 pm in the commons!!

Just bring 2 canned goods per family or group to get in!

Are you a college bound senior?
If the college that you are accepted at requires a mid-year transcript, then come to the Student Services Office and complete a Transcript Request Form. You will need to provide the name and address for each college that requires a mid-year transcript.

Hey Preble!
Are you looking to have some fun on a Saturday night?

Come dance and party it up with the Upward Bound DJ Club Dance!

At the Eastside Boys & Girls Club on February 28th from 6:00 to 9:00 pm

Tickets will be sold during the lunch hours for $5 a person, $9 a couple

ALL schools are invited!!

Walking Club
Walking Club will meet on Monday after school. Meet at the LMC at 3:10 and we will walk until 3:45.
