Parking Passes
A limited number of parking passes will be sold for all three exams days starting on Monday during the 3 lunch hours. The cost is $5.00. The passes will be sold at the front security desk.
Additional scholarships available in the Career Center are:
-Robert Sharp Scholarship – Scholarship based on character and financial need. Must plan to attend a specific college listed on the application.
-Earl Heyrman Scholarship- Appliciant must plan to pursue a career in civil engineering, architectural engineering, or Construction Management. Must also plan to attend a specific college listed on the application.
-Rebekah Scholarship – Award based on need, community service, moral standards and academic achievement.
-Arne Engebretsen Award – Applicant must plan to pursue a career as a K-12 educator with a strong interest in mathematics.
-BayCare Clinic Foundation Scholarship- Applicant must plan to pursue a career in the healthcare field. May attend either 4-year or technical college
-WI Society for Clinical Lab Science Scholarship- Applicant must plan to pursue a degree in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science.
-Best Buy Scholarship – Based on outstanding community service andk/or work experience and academics
-Frank Kazierczak Memorial Migrant Scholarship
Applicant must be a migrant farmworker students who wishes to pursue a career in teaching.
-Mattera National Scholarship fund for Migrant Children Scholarship – Applicant must be a migrant farmworker youth that has been accepted to a 4-year or technical college. Based on financial need.
Boys Basketball
Boys Basketball is playing undefeated BayPort this Friday. We would like to have a blackout the gym at BayPort and need your help. Blackout T-shirts are being sold in the commons ticket booth during the lunch hours today. The cost is $5.00.

Link Crew is sponsoring Cocoa and Cram study tables on January 12th and January 13th from 3-4:30 in the commons. Monday’s subjects will be the world languages, math, social studies, business ed, and music. Tuesday’s subjects will be, language arts, family and consumer education, phy. ed, science, agriscience, and tech ed. So, come enjoy a nice warm cup of hot cocoa and a snack while you study with your friends! Link Crew leaders will even be available to help you prepare! You do not want to miss this!!

The girls basketball teams will be playing tonight vs. Bayport. The jv and frosh will start at 6:00 and the varsity will follow at 7:30. Come and show support for school.

The LMC will be limited periods 4, 5 and 7 today.
On Monday, January 12th the LMC will be limited periods 5 and 7.

Wrestling
The Preble-East wrestling team defeated DePere last night 68-4. The win improves the team’s record to 4-1 in conference and 9-1 overall. Winning by pin were Spencer Tielens, Steve VandenAvond, Luis Alavez, Pedro Hernandez, and Nathan Swiecichowski. Winning by technical fall was Mike Huempfner. Winning by major decisions were Jason Romitti, Josh Romero, and Orrie Vandenlangenberg. Winning by decision was Mark VandenAvond. Winning by forfeit were Matt Pennings, Marshall Pennings, and Luis Perez. Winning on the JV were Zach Dagneau, Jeremy Pigg, Aaron Werchek, and Matt Buettner.
Over the Holiday break the team wrestled at the prestigious 57 team Oshkosh on the Water tournament. The team finished in 6th place with a very strong showing against tough competition. High place winners were Matt Pennings – 2nd, Steve VandenAvond - 5th, Marshall Pennings - 7th and Spencer Tielens who took 9th.
Dodgeball
West Parent Network will again host the 2nd Interdistrict Dodgeball Tournament on Friday, January 30th from 4:30-10:30 p.m.
There can be 6 people on a team. The sign up cost is $30.00 a team or $5.00 a person.
Sign up in the main office starting today until Jan. 19th.

Preble Walking Club will meet Monday after school from 3:10-3:45. Meet by the LMC ready to walk. All students and staff are welcome to join us.
