For more information, see a business teacher in room 144.

Yearbook

There will be a very important yearbook staff meeting today after school in Room 205.  The yearbook rep will be here to show sample covers and we will discuss this year’s theme.  All are welcome to attend, even if you have not yet filled out an application form.   There will be two more after school open training sessions this week—Tuesday and Thursday.  After this week, there will be opportunities for students to be trained but only as we work on designing actual pages.  We will begin the task of layout next week.  Most work sessions will be after school, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.  Students who have been trained may work on prepping photos or doing layout during lunch hours or study halls beginning next week.

This is a reminder to seniors that senior color head shot photos are due to the yearbook by December 1.  There are only approximately 6 weeks left before that deadline.  Most photography studios are now very busy so please schedule your appointment now if you haven’t already.  It takes several weeks to get proofs back and then to get your final choice to the yearbook.  We cannot guarantee that your photo will appear in alphabetical order in the senior section if your photo is received after December 1 or if it doesn’t fit the size or style requirements for the yearbook.  If having a professional photographer take your photo is a financial burden for you or your family, please see Mrs. Sutton in Room 205 immediately so that other arrangements can be made to include you in the yearbook.  We don’t want to leave anyone out.

Non-professional photos must meet the same quality standards as professional photos do.  If your photo is unacceptable, you will be notified.
