The Spring Play this year is called Date with a Vampire.
Count Sid Onitt lives in a dreary castle in the northwestern corner of England. He is descended from a long line of vampires, his father Vlad being the most notorious of all. Now the count is trying to mend his vampire ways and become a respectable member of Parliament. But it isn’t easy when his servant, Igor, is anxious for new guests to arrive for dinner, and six vampire widows, members of the Half-Pint Club, make their appearance in search of fresh blood. So you can imagine the excitement when ten red-blooded American students and their eccentric tour guide stay overnight at the castle as part of their tour of England.
· Will the eccentric Air Force General find the aliens he’s convinced are in the castle?
· Will his “boop-boopy-doop” wife find someone whom she can call “darling?”.

The “cloak–and–fang” shenanigans in this play, will go straight for your “jocular” vein and keep you laughing!

There are speaking roles for 16 women, 10 men and a few extras needed to complete the cast. Although this is not a musical, there will be some monster hits included in the show for singing and dancing roles.

For all who wish to audition for a role in the play, there will be an important drama meeting on Monday, Feb. 11th at 3:15 in the choir room. You must attend this meeting if you plan on learning more about the play and signing up for an audition time.

The Spring Play this year is called Date with a Vampire.
The main character is Count Sid Onitt who is trying to mend his vampire ways so he can sweet talk the Prime Minister, and become a member of Parliament. But it isn’t easy when his servant, Igor, and six vampire widows are hanging around his dreary castle, ready for some fresh necks. So you can imagine the excitement when ten, dare we say, red-blooded American students and their eccentric tour guide stay overnight at the castle as part of their tour of England. The action gets raucous when an obsessed Air Force General, who’s on a witch-hunt for aliens, and his blond bombshell wife appear. The “cloak–and–fang” shenanigans that follow, go straight for the “jocular” vein!

There are speaking roles for 16 women, 10 men and a few extras needed to complete the cast. Although this is not a musical, there will be some monster hits included in the show for singing and dancing roles.
