Buzz Staff:
we will be having a work session after school on Monday Dec 8, to finish and edit articles. Meet in room 132.

Additional scholarships available in the Career Center are:
UW-Milwaukee Lubar Scholarships and Rath Foundation Merit Scholarships- Applicant must pursue a business major.

Hemophilia Out Reach Centre Memorial Scholarship – Applicant must be diagnosed with hemophilia or von Willebrand disease or be the child or sibling of a person with these diseases.

Edward Rathke Scholarship – Applicant may attend a college, trade or technical school. Transcript, ACT/SAT, essay and financial statement required. Award based on financial need.

Thomas Lutsey Scholarship – Applicant may attend either a 4-year or 2-year technical college with the intention of transferring to a 4-yr college. Award based on achievement and financial need.

Brown County Association for Legal Professionals – Applicant must pursue a degree in the law-related field at any technical college or university.

KFC Colonel’s Scholars Program – Applicant may begin their college career by entering into either a 2 or 4-year state college, as long as they stay on track to complete a bachelor’s degree program. GPA of 2.5 required.

Senior Photos

Next week we will be posting the list of senior photos received for the yearbook. Listen to announcements as to when and where the lists will be posted. It is still not too late to turn in a photo but you need to do so as soon as possible. Remember, yearbook photos should be head shots in COLOR, not black and white. If you have turned in a photo that does not fit our requirements, we will send you a notice telling you that your photo must be changed.

Girls Softball

Attention the first girls softball open gym is Monday December 8th 7:30-9:00 in the old gym.

Business Coop

Attention all juniors interested in joining the Business Coop program next year. There will be an information meeting Tuesday, December 9. The meeting will be at 3:05 pm in room 146. If you have any questions, please see a business education teacher in room 144.

FCA Members:
Our huddle will be meeting at Greg Parents house to bake cookies for the Freedom House. Plan is to bake from 2-6 pm. Students can speak with Greg for more details.

Attention Girls Soccer Players!
All girls that signed up for Indoor Soccer AND all returning Varsity Players; there will be a meeting after school on Monday in room 146.

Hockey Fans . . .

Join your GBU JV and Varisty teams this Friday night as they take on cross town rivals De Pere. The puck drops for the JV game at 5:00 p.m. and the Varsity game follows at 7:30 p.m. Come cheer on your United team at the De Pere Ice Center, located just off Ashland Avenue, next to the Brown County Fairgrounds. Show your support and kick off your Friday night with some exciting hockey action! Gate fees apply, no Green Bay School activity passes accepted. Happy Holidays and GO UNITED!

Giving Tree

The NHS students are collecting personal hygiene items for the Giving Tree located in the LMC. Please bring your items and place them under the tree.

Green Bay United Men's Swim Team

Tuesday night 26 young men from the (NEW) Green Bay United Men's Swim Team swam in their first meet. It wasn't just their first meet of the year. It was the first time a Green Bay School District Men's Swim Team swam in a meet. Last night the team traveled to Sturgeon Bay for their first away meet. This team has heart. Congratulation! Go GBU!
