Yearbook
There will be a yearbook work session after school today in room 203 as well as tomorrow after school.
Seventy senior photos have been received so far. December 1 is the deadline if your photo is to appear in alphabetical order in the senior section. If you have not already contacted a professional photographer, you need to do so immediately or you will not be able to make this important deadline. See Mrs. Sutton in room 205 if you need assistance getting a photo taken because of financial considerations. Our goal is to include everyone in the senior class in this year’s yearbook.
Vox Box
Vox Box, the student writing group will meet today after school in room 205. All are welcome.
Knitting Club
The Knitting Club will meet tomorrow in Room 205. Come join us if you want to learn how to knit. You can earn up to 18 service learning hours if you make a hat or mittens for a Green Bay student in need. Now is a good time, also, to begin projects that you might wish to use as seasonal gifts. All are welcome, students AND staff.
Girls Soccer
Any girls interested in trying out for girls soccer, there will be an informational meeting in Room 264 on Monday at 3:15
Attention Sting Cancer:
Tonight’s meeting will be held in the commons rather than the LMC due to a faculty in-service.
We will have a special guest from Barnes and Noble, community representative Shirley Verbruggen, coming to give us information about our second annual Sting Cancer Barnes and Noble Book Fair Event which will be held on Saturday, January 17th.
Please remember to report to the commons rather than to the LMC for tonight’s Sting Cancer meeting.
Preble Students and Staff:
We are collecting bottle caps again this year. Last year, with your help, we collected 214,524 caps. We’re hoping to double that number by the end of this school year.
Before you recycle your bottles in the cafeteria, please remove the cap and put it in one of the plastic boxes located on top of the recycling cans. There is also a box inside the LMC door that you can use to deposit the caps you collect at home.
Thank you in advance for your help.
