Attention Link Crew Leaders:
If you were unable to attend the morning meeting on Thursday, and would like to pick up the valuable information covered at the meeting please stop in room B116. We have recruitment sheets for “Preble Night at the Movies,” as well as Younkers Coupon books. Remember, the movie night committee is meeting after school in room 222 on November 17th.
Boys Basketball
All boys who are planning on trying out for the basketball teams this year are reminded that all forms must be turned in before the first day of practice. If you were not at the sign up meeting you can pick up the forms and sign up with Coach Gillis in room 259 or Coach Greenawald in room 242.
The Buzz
Buzz staff meeting Monday after school to finish this issue of the paper. Please stop in room 132 to be sure your articles are current.
Cross Country
All Cross Country runners are reminded that their banquet and senior information is due on Monday. Please turn it in to either Coach Loritz or Coach Haller at your earliest convenience.
Book Club
Word on the street is that the last book discussion was filled with great conversation and good food. So…come join us in the LMC on Thursday, December 4th during your lunch period to discuss the very popular book, Whale Talk (you might even get extra credit). Pick up a copy today in the LMC…supplies are limited. Any questions?? See Mrs. Pearson or Mrs. Suda.

Our second Math Meet is Monday, Nov. 17 at East High School.
All pink confirmation slips are due by today Friday, Nov. 7th. Please give them to your math teacher or drop them off in room 237
Men's Swim Team
Can you please make an announcement that the parent for the Men's Swim team is 7 p.m. Tuesday November 11th at Preble High School in room 164/165. I am getting very excited about this season I hope you all are too!
PFM Test Out
The Personal and Financial Management Test-Out is scheduled for Tuesday November 18 and Thursday November 20. The test will be given from 3:15pm to approximately 4:45pm. Sign-up for this test is from Tuesday, November 4 through Monday, November 10 before and after school and during the lunch hours in the Main Office. A $5.00 examination fee is required when you sign up. Students will need receipt of sign-up to check out the course text from the LMC.
The test will also be given in Spanish this year. Interested students can pick up Spanish Test-Out letter in Room 149.
Preble Walking Club
We will meet Monday after school from 3:10-3:45. Meet by the LMC ready to walk. All students and staff are welcome to join us.
Wrestlers and students interested in wrestling:
The date for body composition tests has changed. It will now be next week Wednesday, Nov. 12th, instead of the 13th. All students interested in wrestling please come to the varsity locker rooms next Wednesday at 3:15 for body composition tests. Remember to drink lots of water and stay hydrated until then.
