Yearbook
Yearbook after school work sessions will be held today and Thursday this week in Room 203. Anyone who has already been trained or who needs training is invited to join us. We need help with preparing photos and creating layout designs to match this year’s theme. If anyone has borrowed a yearbook camera, please return it to Mrs. Sutton this week so that we can download your photos for our current pages. We have a great need for photographers as well, so please come join us.

This is another reminder to seniors that your senior color photos are due to the yearbook by Monday, December 1. See Mrs. Sutton in Room 205 if you need help because of the financial burden of professional photos. We don’t want anyone to be left out.

Attention Wrestlers and all students interested in wrestling.

There will be an open gym in the weight room for wrestling today (Monday) after school and this Wednesday after school lasting until 4:30.

Congratulations to the Boys Varsity Soccer team who finished the season second in the Conference. The Hornets won the consolation bracket of the Conference tournament over the weekend with a 2-1 victory over Ashwaubenon on Thursday evening and a 1-0 win over Southwest on Saturday afternoon. Congratulations on a great regular season! The next game will be at home as Preble will host a WIAA regional game against Green Bay West. Game time is at 7:00 p.m.

WKCE Announcement #1
For Announcements One Week before the Test:

The WKCE testing for 10th graders begins 1 week from tomorrow – it starts next Tuesday, October 28. For each test we will announce the day before:
What test is coming up the next day
What 10th graders need to bring
What time classes will begin

Today, we will start announcing some test taking strategies:

Strategies for taking Multiple choice Tests:
Read the question before you look at the answer
Come up with answers in your head before looking at the possible answers, this way the choices on the test won’t throw you off or trick you
Eliminate answers you know aren’t right
Read all the choices before choosing your answer
On the WKCE tests, there is no guessing penalty, so always take an educated guess and select an answer
