Football
Our Football team finished their regular season play by beating Manitowoc 45-20 and ending with a 7-2 regular season record.


Our first playoff game will be this coming Tuesday. We will let everyone know who we play and where sometime this afternoon when the WIAA announces the pairings.
Thank you for all of your support throughout the season. Preble fans are the best.

Boys Soccer
The Boys Varsity Soccer team began WIAA Regional competition by defeating Green Bay West 5-0 last night. The Hornets were led by Andrew Sundling and Alex Drabes who each scored two goals. Andrew Stone also scored a goal and Magic Vang added two assists. Goalkeeper Erik Tauschek had two saves in recording the shutout.

The Regional championship is Saturday vs. Kaukauna. Time and location is yet to be determined. When this information is available it will be posted on the Parent Network Web Site

The Buzz

A reminder to all Buzz staff that articles for the next issue are due by Monday Oct. 27. Place your articles in the drop box or email them to the Buzz. We will be having a full staff meeting on Monday Oct 27, after school in room 132.

Girls Volleyball

Congratulations to the members of the girls’ volleyball team for their thrilling 5-game win over Pulaski last night. Thanks to the fans for their support of the team. The Hornets play next at Kaukauna at 7pm on Saturday in the Regional Final match. SWARM members: what else are you going to do on a Saturday night? Come support the team one more time.

Attention girls volleyball players: varsity, you need to report at 4:30pm on Saturday for the bus to Kaukauna. Any freshmen or JV team members who want to ride the bus can do so.

Attention Link Crew Executive Board Members! Due to the WKCE exam, our exec. board meeting has been switched from before school to after school on Wednesday, October 29th. Please plan to meet in Ms. Nelson’s room, 222, immediately after school on Wednesday for a brief, but important meeting. If you cannot attend you must see one of the coordinators!

NWTC

NWTC is sponsoring a multicultural College Preview Day on Wednesday Nov. 5 for interested junior and senior students. Students will learn about admissions, federal aid and various programs offered. Interested students must sign up in the Career Center.
Note: This is the last wkce test day. There will be a late start time for grades 9, 11, and 12. If you plan to attend, you are expected to be here by 7:15 a.m. Only sign up, if you are willing to keep this commitment.

Sting Cancer

Today during the three lunch hours, Sting Cancer members will be recognizing October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month in the area by the ticket booth. Stop by to learn about breast cancer, get a pink ribbon to wear, and check out the latest in Sting Cancer fashions. You can also enter your name into a drawing for a Sting Cancer t-shirt; three will be given away each lunch period. There are also going to be Ribbon Cards to honor or remember someone affected by breast cancer, which will be displayed in the LMC window. Don’t be left out. Stop by the Sting Cancer table today during lunch!

Musical Tickets

Tickets for this year’s musical “All Shook Up” featuring the music of Elvis go on sale Monday before and after school. If you want good seats be sure to get your tickets early and don’t miss this high energy rock n’ roll new musical comedy. Tickets are $10.

Preble Walking Club

Take a walk with the Preble Walking Club on Monday after school. We meet by the LMC and walk from 3:10-3:45. All students and staff are welcome to join us.
