Attention Art Club:
Come to Ms. Gerondale’s room today after school for our end of the year celebration. Don’t forget to bring you signed permission slips.

Attention Seniors
There are only about 10 days left to clear up restricted time in order to walk at graduation. If you are unsure about how many you have, it is your responsibility to check with the secretaries in the attendance office.

Tomorrow is the Academic Awards ceremony for 10th graders during 2nd hour and 12th graders during 3rd hour. All students will need to report to their classes and will be dismissed via intercom. A list of students who will be receiving awards is posted outside auditorium.

Attention boy’s interested in playing volleyball:
There will be an open gym on Thursday May 15th from 6:30-8:30 pm.

The Do Something Club

The Do Something club has collected names of former Preble student and members of the Preble Family who are serving in the military. We will be creating and sending care packages to them by early summer. The school store has kindly donated Preble T-shirts, the staff members have given money, and the Do Something club has raised money for the purchase of a variety of things to send.
We would like your help. We are asking for donations of snack foods, socks and t-shirts, hygiene items, CD’s (preferably comedies), and DVD’s. We are especially looking for new and LIGHTLY used magazines like those on hunting and fishing, sports, gaming, cars and any like popular mechanics. There will be a box in the LMC for the collecting of those materials. Please drop them off next week.

Thank you!

Cheerleading Tryouts
The cheerleading team is looking for hard working, committed individuals to represent Preble during the 2008-2009 school year. If you're looking for something that will challenge you mentally and physically, with a heavy dose of school spirit, then try out for the cheer team! Cheerleaders stunt, tumble, dance and compete at local and state competitions besides cheering for Preble football and basketball games.

Practices are Monday and Tuesday, May 19 and 20 from 7:45-9:00 pm in the Wrestling Room. Tryouts are Wednesday, May 21 starting at 3:30 pm. A medical card is required to participate in practices and tryouts, so pick one up from the main office and bring it with you on May 19.

Seniors! Graduation is just around the corner and what better way to celebrate than with your Senior Ball. This is a five hour event that includes a full buffet dinner, dance, photo by Harmann and a Senior Ball stainless steel traveler mug. Because this dance already includes your dinner, tickets cost more than just a regular dance, but this is your last one of your high school years and always proves to be a memorable night. We must make reservations for the dinner, and so tickets MUST BE PURCHASED by 6th hours tomorrow. Thesy will be on sale today during lunch hours and after school, and tomorrow at the BBQ. If you don’t get paid until tomorrow, you can make a reservation on a special “HOLD” list tomorrow only at the BBQ. Tickets will NOT be sold at the door.
