Attention teachers!
Today all 9th, 10th, and 11th graders must vote for the Intra-City Student Council members for next year. Please count the number of freshmen, sophomores, and juniors in your class and send a runner to the Commons for ballots. SENIORS DO NOT VOTE. Please return the ballots to the Main Office by the end of this hour so that they can be submitted to DOB.
An additional scholarship available in the Career Center is:
The Odd Fellows Green Bay Scholarship – Two $500 scholarships. Applicant may attend a four-year college, technical college or trade school. Based on 3.2/better GPA, extracurricular & community activities. List of college prep courses, transcript, and three letters of recommendation and essay required. Application due May 14.
Art Club
Art club will be meeting today in Ms. Gerondale’s room to make bags out of your old jeans. If you have extras you would be willing to share please bring them along.
Attention Asian Club members.
There will be a mandatory meeting today after school in room 218. If you cannot attend please let one of the officers know.
Attention students from Preble and East High School
Sting Cancer is hosting a Battle of the Bands competition Friday May 16th at Preble High School.
If you have a band interested in competing in this competition please see Ms.Gruski in room 123 for details.
Attention boy’s interested in playing volleyball:
There will be an open gym tonight from 6:30-8:30 pm.
Cabaret 2008
DVDs for Cabaret 2008 are in. Please pick up your copy of the Cabaret DVD in room 247. Sorry, but the only copies we have are those that were ordered in advance. That’s Cabaret DVDs in room 247.
Preble Girls Basketball Program
Any girl interested in playing summer league for the Preble Girls Basketball Program, there is a sign up sheet in the main office.
Boy’s Golf
The freshman golf team placed 3rd place FRCC/BAY Conference Challenge held yesterday at Highland Ridge Golf Club.
Davis Kim claimed the individual championship with a six-over par 78. Anthony Graham placed 9th with an 89 and Andy Waselchuk placed 12th with a 91.
All players not participating in today’s meet will practice at Royal Scot with Coach Johnson.
Sting Cancer Members
Please remember our meeting after school today. We have many, many things to do and discuss for the upcoming National Livestrong – Wear Yellow Day, so we need lots of help! Please try your best to attend this meeting as it is crucial we have your help. If you cannot be there for the whole meeting, that is fine. We just need many hands to do much work!
