The Army National Guard
The Army National Guard is having a benefits seminar on how you can serve your country and pay for college. Briefing will be Monday, May 19 at 6pm. Attendees must be at least 17 years old. Food from Subway and a backpack filled with goodies will be provided free of charge. Stop in the Career Center for registration details.
Attention Seniors
There are only about 10 days left to clear up restricted time in order to walk at graduation. If you are unsure about how many you have, it is your responsibility to check with the secretaries in the attendance office.
Ballroom Dancing Club
Come “take the lead” in the new Ballroom Dancing Club! Fun beginner lessons will take place every Wednesday and Friday, at 3:05 in the wrestling lobby. Expert Ballroom Dance instructor and student teacher, Mike Witte, will be teaching the class. All experience levels are welcome. Wear shoes you’ll be comfortable dancing in, and come join the fun!
Play DVDs
DVDs of the play “Date With A Vampire” may be ordered for only $30. Pick up your order form in room 118 or 247. Orders for the “Date With A Vampire” DVDs are due today, Friday, May 16.
Friday the LMC is closed hours 3, 6 and 7 and limited hours 4, 5 and 8.

Girl’s Golf Meeting
There will be a meeting for any girl interested in joining the Preble Girl’s Golf team next Tuesday in room 146. Please see Mr. Johnson if you cannot attend.
Boy’s Golf
HORNET GOLFERS FINISH 5TH AT BROWN COUNTY MEET
Tyler Wadzinski shot an 80 and placed 9th overall to lead the varsity golf team to a 5th place finish in the Brown County meet held at Wander Springs Golf Club. Brandon Chaloupka was next for the Hornets placing 15th with a score of 82.
GSA
There will be a GSA officers meeting next week Tuesday after school in room 258. This will be the final officers meeting to get ready for our last two meetings. Please make arrangements to be there so we can finish the year on a strong note. If you cannot attend, you need to let Miss Warnke know so other arrangements can be made.
FCA

Attention Seniors attending the Scholarship night on Tuesday May 20th:
You must report to the auditorium at the beginning of 3rd hour on Monday, May 19th for instructions about that night.
NHS
National Honor Society Stoles are in. NHS seniors can pick them up in room 228. The cost is 18 dollars. Make Checks payable to Preble NHS.
PROM/POST-prom
If you signed up and paid for a PROM/POST-prom picture CD in the main office you can pick them up today in the main office. Be sure to have your name checked off the list.
Cross Country
Attention those interested in joining the 2008 Preble Cross Country Team:
There will be an informational meeting for the boys on Tuesday, May 20th and the girls on Tuesday May 27th. Both meetings will be held at 3:15 in room 264 (health room). Whether you are a veteran runner or brand new to the sport of distance running the meeting will help answer any questions about the upcoming season. We need as many boys and girls out for the team as possible, there are no cuts from the team and everyone participates in every meet. Be a part of a great group of young people and join the ongoing tradition of Preble Cross Country!!!
Tennis Team
There will be a meeting next Tuesday, for all girls interested in going out for tennis in the fall. The meeting will begin at 3:05 in Room 245. If you cannot attend, please see Mrs. Weuve.
Track Announcement
Our JV track and field team finished off an outstanding season last night in the JV Conference meet. They have laid the groundwork for the success of all future Preble track and field teams. Congratulations on your season.
