American Mathematics Competition
Congratulations to McKinley Meyer and Megan Larson for finishing FIRST for Preble, in their respective divisions, in the American Mathematics Competition test in February. Their names will be engraved on the perpetual plaque in the Math Trophy case
The top scores in each division were:

1st Place: Megan Larson

Attention All Juniors attending Prom:
If you plan on bringing a non-Preble student to Prom you need to pick up a guest form from the main office. These forms are due back in the Preble Main Office on April 10th.

Attention all Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors! If you are interested in voicing your opinions and representing Preble High School next year in a city-wide forum of high school students, you should run for the Intra-City Student Council. The ICSC is a time commitment that takes place outside of school hours at least once a month during the school year. If you would like more information on the Intra-City Student Council and would like to be placed on a school-wide ballot in two weeks, please pick up an intent-to-run form from the Main Office.

There will be Link Crew informational meetings during the lunch hours TODAY and again at 3:00 tomorrow. Today’s meetings will be in the auditorium and tomorrow’s meeting will be in 107A. All meetings will only last about 10 minutes. Stop by one of these meetings to see what this exciting freshmen transition program is all about!
Attention National Honor Society
The National Honor Society Induction Ceremony will be held Monday April 14th at 7pm All Current NHS members need to attend. There will be name tags on your assigned seat. Please be in your seat by 7pm. You should prepare a small dessert tray for after the ceremony.
ATTENTION CAST OF DATE WITH A VAMPIRE
The ALL CAST rehearsal for the play today will run from 3:15 to 6:00.
Thursday, there will be NO REHEARSAL.
Friday, there will be an ALL CAST rehearsal from 3:15 to 6:30.
Cast and crew members, this is a reminder to get your ads in to Ms. Schewe as soon possible. They are due on Monday 4/14.
Precollege Programs
There are many opportunities available during the summer months at campuses throughout the state for students to attend Precollege programs. This is an opportunity for students to improve their academic skills and learn about college. The Department of Instruction is offering scholarships for students who qualify for free and reduced lunch. Stop in the Career Center for further information.
In addition, St. Norbert College is offering precollege programs in June
Lakeland College-Green Bay campus is offering summer college level classes
Lawrence Academy of Music is offering various summer camps
Stop in the Career Center for further information.
Seniors!
On Thursday April 10, representatives from Brickhouse School Services will be in the cafeteria commons during the lunch hours handing out graduation announcement orders that were placed by you or your parents last fall. If you have a balance due you will need to bring that to school on Thursday.
Please stop and see Mr. Brick to take home your order on Thursday!
1st EVER inter-city Dodgeball tournament
Students mark your calendars for the 1st EVER inter-city Dodgeball tournament - Food & Change drive - Friday May 16th - 4:30-10:00 at West High School
Sign ups for Dodgeball & Change teams are now in office
Participants will be East-West-SW & Preble High Schools students - Entry into this event to view & participate is a canned food item which will be donated to local pantries.
There will be a maximum of 8 dodgeball teams per school w/ 6 players on each team - $6.00 sign up fee to play . Make any checks payable to West Parent Network - Prize for the winning team
Also if you are not able to be on a dodgeball team you can be a "change" teams - 6 per team -no sign up fee -
These teams collect change for the month of April - til tournament - to be donated at dodgeball tournament.The "change" team that collects the most change will be given a prize-
The "change teams" are very important in allowing us to fund multiple places - the more financial support - more places will benefit..
Sign up fees & change collected will go to a homeless shelter
Concessions will be provided - School appropriate Costumes welcome -

The Coca-Cola Two-Year College scholarship
The Coca-Cola Two-Year College scholarship is still available to students with a GPA of 2.5/better. Essays, list of community service, and a letter of recommendation required. Application due in Student Service dept. by April 29. (at NWTC or other institution by May 5)
The Post Prom Party
The Post Prom Party is right after the dance and will be held at Edison. The Entrance is in the lower parking lot on the south side of the school. There will be no one admitted to the party after midnight. There will be no coat check. Great Prizes will be given out through out the night with several major prizes given out at the end of the night. Come have food, play games, check out all of the other activities and win prizes. It will be a great fun filled night.
Tuesday the LMC is limited hours 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8.

Varsity softball practice will be inside today. Be there by 4:30. Coach Halverson
Freshman girls softball no practice tonight. Next practice will be tomorrow right after school. Be prepared to go inside or out. Coach Metzler
