Tuesday and Wednesday review sessions will begin tomorrow before school at 6:45 in Mrs. Jensen’s room if and only if at least 2 people are signed up by noon today. Remember to sign up in advance for the sessions you want to attend. Otherwise, no session will be prepared or held on the date scheduled.

Sign-up for the AP exam opens today, so all AP Psychology students interested in taking the AP exam in May should stop by room B114 this week to see Mr. Wiskerchen.

Sign-up for AP Exams will run Monday, March 10 through Thursday, March 13. A $15.00 deposit per test is required when signing up--made out to Green Bay Area Public Schools. If you are taking more than one test you can write one check to cover the deposit for all the tests. Students can sign-up before and after school or during their lunch hour. On Thursday, March 13 sign-up will end at 3:30pm. Any questions see your AP teacher or Mrs. Koenig in the Main Office.

Dust off your shoes and join the Walking Club. We meet tonight after school by the LMC. We will walk from 3:10-3:45. All students and staff are welcome to join us.

Please plan to come a very brief meeting TOMORROW after school in which you will choose the Prom theme. Several themes will be presented and then there will be a vote.
“Opportunity Knocks”
On Thursday April 3, 2008 minority students with a GPA of 2.0/better will have the opportunity to take part in a preview day called “Opportunity Knocks” at UW-Green Bay. This is an all day event with transportation and lunch provided. No cost to students. The program includes: college prep information, campus tour, meeting with current students, college admission, financial aid, using support services for success, motivational speaker and more. Permission slips may be picked up in the Career Center. Deadline for registration is Monday, March 17.
Staff and Students - Need a haircut?
Want it done free? Come to St. Baldrick’s on Sat., March 15, here at Preble from 3-7 and have your head shaved in order to help raise money for childhood cancer research.
Check out the web page at www.saintbaldricks.org or look at any of the posters around school. We’re also looking for volunteers to help with the event without having your head shaved. If you’d like to help, attend the Sting Cancer meeting Thursday, or see one of the advisors before Thursday. You don’t have to be here for the whole time.
If you can’t volunteer or don’t have the courage to get your head shaved, show up anyway for a fun time. There will be games and magic for the kids, a silent auction, a raffle, and, of course, watching brave people get their heads shaved in support of childhood cancer research.
Men’s Cancer Forum: Tackling It Head OnA night for men and their families to hear inspirational stories and learn how to combat men’s cancer, together.
Guest speakers include cancer survivors Jerry Parins, Senior Security Advisor for the Green Bay Packers, Tom Ristow, Sportscaster for Fox 11, and Nick Nesvacil, founder of Sting Cancer at Preble High School, the only high school driven cancer awareness group in the United States.
Don’t forget an amazing Wisconsin Sports Themed Silent Auction sponsored by Classic Sports Originals. You have your chance to bid on items autographed items by everyone from Price Fielder to Oscar Robertston or from Brett Favre to Ryan Braun. Also how about taking home a free wing party from The Bar on Holmgren Way or a pasta party from Grazi’s.
Food and refreshments will be provided and admission is free. Men’s Forum is March 25 th at 6:00 at Walter Theatre at St. Norbert College.

This week our school will host two prominent track and field meets.
Tomorrow, our men’s track and field team will compete in the Preble Indoor City Invitational. Events begin at 4:00 pm
On Wednesday, our women’s track and field team will compete in the Preble Indoor City Invitational. Events begin at 3:30 pm

Attention students and staff! The Preble Unity Expo is a little over a month away and we need to plan the exhibits. Any person or group who wishes to have an exhibit must pick up a form from the Main Office and return it by the end of this week in order to be counted into the Expo. Every exhibit must also have a faculty sponsor. Questions may be directed to Mrs. Marshall in Room 200.
Women in Health Care High School Seminar
The 8th annual Women in Health Care High School Seminar will be held at the Health Sciences Learning Center on the UW-Madison campus on April 12, 2008. The seminar will provide an opportunity for high school girls to explore various health care careers and learn about the educational preparation each field entails.
Applications are available in the Career Center. All applications must be returned to the Career Center today, March 10. There is a $5 fee to cover the cost of lunch.
