Congratulations to James Harder who has been named a Finalist in the National Merit Scholarship Program. He is now part of a very select group still in contention for a national Merit Scholarship.
Jim please come to the main office now to receive your Finalist Certificate and again, congratulations.
Snowball
All student’s who are planning on bringing a non-Preble student to Snowball must complete a non-Preble Dance form. You can pick up the guest dance form in the main office and they are due back in the main office by February 14.
MAC Scholars
MAC Scholars will meet TODAY after school from 3:00 to 4:00 pm in the back of the LMC by The Career Center
Seniors
College Goal 2008 will be held on Sunday February 10 at 2:00pm. The event will take place at the Boys & Girls Club on both the east and west side of Green Bay. College Goal Sunday is a free event designed to assist families in completing the FAFSA form. This is the essential first step to attain financial aid for a higher education. If you perceive completing the FAFSA form as complex and overwhelming, take advantage of this free service.

This is a reminder that we will finish our discussion of The Red Badge of Courage at tonight’s meeting. Remember to bring your books and notes to the meeting.

SUPER DOOPER PRIMARY TUESDAY has finally arrived! Do you still remember the State of the Union Address made by that other guy who’s still occasionally in the news... er....uh..... what’s his name? Oh, yeah, George Bush? Well he had some things to say last week. Come to the Political Awareness Club tonite and talk, debate if you like, the content of that speech and the outcomes of today’s history-making primary elections, make you predictions, and duke it out for your favorite candidate. Come to PAC at 3:05 in room 107. Let’s politic it up!

The environmental club will be meeting tomorrow at 3:05 in room 216. We will be working on a recycling program. If you are interested in helping out please stop by.

Attention all writers interested in being published in Preble’s new literary magazine: The rescheduled informational meeting will be today, after school, in room 205. If you are unable to attend, pick up an expectations and sign-up sheet in room 205.
