Reading Award
Congratulations to Merisa McMichael and Shaina Beckers on being recognized for their reading accomplishments over the summer. They are both receiveing from State Senator David Hansen a Certificate of Recognition for Excellence in Reading.
Again, congratulations Merisa McMichael and Shaina Beckers. Will you both please come now to the main office to receive your certificates.
Attention all students and staff!
The LMC has a new software program called ABTutor. In addition to being a teaching tool, the Media Specialists, only the Media Specialists, will be able to remotely access student computers.
As always, students should only be using computers to complete their schoolwork.
Please be prepared for consequences if you choose not to follow the rules.
ACT Prep Workshop
Anyone who has registered for the ACT Prep Workshop on Saturday is reminded to bring a calculator. It is very important that you remember a calculator as it will be needed as you prepare for the math section of the ACT.
Wrestling
Congratulations to the varsity wrestling team for their 38 to 34 dual meet win over Sheboygan South last night.
Individual victories were earned by:
Malachi Root, Luis Perez, Matt Pennings, Mark VandenAvond, Steve VandenAvond, Nick Sobrilsky, and Tyler Umentum
Good luck to our JV wrestlers as they travel to Bayport of a tournament on Saturday.
Good luck to our varsity team as they travel to Sturgeon Bay for an Invitational on Saturday.
Painted Furniture
Ms. Nooyen’s Drawing and Painting 2 class from last semester should stop by some time today to pick up their furniture painted in the style of a famous artist.
The Art Department would like to remind anyone interested in submitting a design for the Einstein butterfly or frog. It is due at the Einstein office on or before February 1st.

Musical DVD
Did you want a DVD from the musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat?
We have 10 DVDs of Joseph available. Cost is $25. Get your copy in room 247.

Attention all Link Crew Leaders: The activity participation spreadsheet has been updated and is currently posted on the Link Crew filing cabinet in the LMC. Please double check it to make sure you have been given credit for participating in Link Crew events. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Rowe, Mrs. Smith, Mrs. VanRemortel or Mr. Friis.
Sting Cancer at Barnes & Noble on Saturday, January 26
Sting Cancer team is having a great year and are excited about an opportunity to raise awareness and money to help families and individuals with cancer in the greater Green Bay area.
They will be at Barnes and Noble on Saturday, January 26th from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM for a Sting Cancer book fair. If customers come in and mention Sting Cancer when they make their purchase, Preble's Sting Cancer receives 10-20% of the sale.
Preble students will also be there all day with information booths about Sting Cancer, and plenty of great activities for both young and not so young people.
Don’t forget if you spend $50.00 and show your receipt to a Sting Cancer Represenative you will get a free t-shirt while supplies last.
Also, remember students and staff, bring your edition of the Buzz to Barnes and Noble tomorrow and being entered into a raffle for cool Sting Cancer gear.

Sting Cancer Students----Katie Follet and the group of students that are going out to put flyers on cars for tomorrow’s event tonight after school –we were told we cannot put them on cars in the Bay Park Square parking lot. You can all over around the area like to the Mini mall where Red Robin is, Target, K-Mart, and restaurants throughout the Oneida Street area and distribute the remainder of the flyers
Boy's Volleyball
There will be an open gym for any boy’s interested in playing volleyball on Tuesday January 29th from 7:30pm – 9:30pm.
